Worst service I havd ever come across. Took two weeks to get key ignition worked on but they couldnt help me in the end. It seems they get great reviews when people buy a vehicle but all service related views get one star. Bad business.
I had a great experience buying my new truck from Sherwood Chev. Scott was very knowledgeable when I was deciding what truck was perfect for me. The guys treated me very good and answered all the questions I had. This is the best experience I have ever had buying a new truck and will definately buy again from Sherwood Chev!!!
Would definitely recommend Sherwood Chev to anyone looking to purchase a new vehicle. Amazing service, always putting the customer first. Had my 2017 truck recently totalled off which was purchased through SMP (What a headache dealing with them as well) and it's not even comparable how much better Sherwood Chevrolet is at everything. Following through and checking in and making sure everything is going good and always willing to help. Amazing people to deal with! I dealt with Jordan and will from now on!
If you like paying for 3m clear rock guard and finding it was not applied behind your wheel wells and being told "that's how all truck are rock guarded" then, Sherwood is for you.
If you like bringing your vehicle in four times because it gets stuck in 4 wheel drive and having the service desk lie to your face claiming your vehicle is the first one they've seen with that issue when everyone you have met with the same vehicle has had the same issue, then Sherwood is for you.
If you like having warranty parts( Actuator for your 4wheel drive) you had to specifically place an order for, because they service desk couldn't be bothered to, given to another customer after you called in three times to see if they had arrived because they were late then Sherwood is for you.
If you like having the dealership lose your keys and having to miss out on a family event because "they found your keys but your vehicle suddenly won't be ready until tomorrow", then Sherwood is for you.
If you like having a low oil light come on 160 km from the nearest community in the middle of winter and discovering that during your last oil change the dealership added only 5 litres of oil rather than 8 litres, then Sherwood is for you.
If you have some sick twisted sense of loyalty and idealistic view of the world where you think that the people you bought a vehicle off of for $60 000 dollars would care one iota about your future business or have a minimal amount of integrity, respect for others, or take the tiniest amount of pride in the work they do, then Sherwood is NOT for you.
These are not all the beefs I had with them and are only the big ticket items I fought with them over. I nearly had a nervous breakdown when my low oil light came on 160 kilometers North of La Loche.
I had opted to never waste another minute of my life dealing with their poor service but recently heard from a friend who had a run in with them and was hollered at by one of the senior staff. It is important to me that good people do not go here for service. Go out of town, go anywhere else. Anywhereplease
These guys have the worst warranty service i have ever experienced. They are great until you sign on the dotted line. If i could put in a negative star rating i would. If you have any self respect take your business elsewhere.
Excellent team work at Sherwood Chevrolet: professional, friendly, and accommodating staff sold me a nice used Ford Edge at a decent price. It was my first stop and after going elsewhere to look ended up going back. They offered the best inventory and service by far. On pick up, my new vehicle was immaculately clean in and out. Thanks Dale for your great service and going that extra mile.
We would like to say how much we appreciated Don Kusey at Sherwood Chevrolet. Don greeted us like a old friend, made us feel welcome. He is not only interesting to talk to but seemed to be interested in us. He has a super good knowledge of the vehicles and tried to find exactly what we wanted. Even after our purchase he didn't seem to be in a hurry and has been willing and available to answer any of our questions since the purchase. He is a five star salesman. Don & Gwen Wolf
This is my first purchase with Sherwood Chevrolet and it was top notch. Dealing with a seasoned sales expert, Scott Milne was great. He is very knowledgeable and understands the customer. He takes the time to find out the needs and wants and makes the experience enjoyable. Taking the time to find special discounts for me was a pleasant surprise. Scott was very thorough in explaining the many features of the new Colorado purchased. Even though the deal was finalized late in the day, the pre-delivery staff made sure I could take delivery the same day. I look forward to this type of service in the future with the 4 free oil changes and other perks. Thanks.
Everyone was great to deal with, very friendly. Also a great selection of different vehicles. Explained everything very well, so got all our questions answered.
Chevy means a GARBAGE vehicle plus VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I purchased a brand new Trax 2016 from Sherwood Chevrolet in Oct. 2016. It was broken down within less than 3 months. The engine dies suddenly while driving especially at stop signs and in the cold weather. The cabin gets filled with smoke. I took it to the same dealership. I was told that heater has problem and I was promised to receive the part and see the car fixed within 2-3 weeks. We were not offered a rental car; put our life in risk while the vehicle was under new car warranty. They knew driving the car with that condition is not safe but the technician just wished us to not face the same problem in the highway. We had to drive the car in the extreme cold weather (-44ºC) with the heater off. Add to it the stress of the engine possibly dying at any moment in the highway! I didn’t hear back from them for 1 month, when I gave them a call, I was told the part was on the way and to wait another 2 weeks. After six weeks when I didn’t hear anything from them, I gave them a call again and was told the same answer. I met the part manager and was told the factory has run out the part and they are not responsible for that. I was told that winter is almost over and the problem will be hopefully fixed by next winter. We got upset and asked an appointment with the executive manager, left a message two times which were unanswered. We walked in to meet him and got the same answer. We want to return the vehicle; they told us negotiation with the company is needed. After one week we are told wait one more month hopefully you will receive the part. Back to the starting point!!! VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, they are still wasting our time and money.
service department is awful. the first time i used them, they lost my keys. i had to stand there for an hour while they searched and then they gave me a courtesy car for the night and expected me to return it to them in the morning at my inconvenience. they ordered an accessory for my vehicle and couldn't give me an ETA on arrival - two months later, i find out it's been sitting there almost the entire time. they can't even answer the phone politely. does not inspire much confidence in the service my vehicle is getting.
Sherwood has never really been a great place for Service. The advisers are great. But the technicians don't ever seem to know what they are doing. I have gone here for vehicle safeties. I made an appointment and got my vehicle there 10 minutes early and had it all wash for them to look over it. I waited all day for any response that is was done. I got nothing So I went to service at the end of the day. Then I was told by my adviser that they hadn't even gotten to the car yet. So I had to re book an appointment and Leave with a car that got no inspection or anything done to it.. Once it was re booked I took it back in and they fine finished it. Took them all day then they tried to push parts on me that I didn't need. I have never bought a new car from them. But the salesman seem like they know what they are doing.
I am going to give them a 3 and I will explain why. I had to get my wife's BMW X5 in to be fixed after being rear ended. Took the vehicle in, came back and the automatic lift gate was grinding and stopped working after a couple days. I was told it was a coincidence which is total bullshit and the guy who explained it to me knew it. So when the parts came in, back we went and when we got it back they had obviously used a brush when washing it, probably didn't wash the dirt off good enough as well so all of the paint was swirled. Had to get the truck polished, they asked me how I washed it and there was no way this could happen because they use a squeegee to wash the vehicles. What a joke. On those 2 points they get a 1 star. I just recently and reluctantly bought a truck from them because they had a good deal, and their sales people went above and beyond to get me into the truck I wanted. My combined experience with them has been 3 stars, we will see how things go when I need service work done.
