Very nice place. Large spots and lots of room. Only problem now is the idiot city workers blocked the road off and did not give an alternative way in except for a runabout. Workers not moving very fast either,
It's a nice place. The water pressure at the shower house is very good .
I had a excellent time here, great for the working person doing night shifts. Clean and quiet facilities and on call attendant
Tented here and paid the same rate a camper would pay. Having power was nice though. We brought a small tent for our kids and were hoping to set it up but it wasn't allowed. They suggested we pay for the site next to ours to accomodate that. Fair enough. There are no fire pits but they had small barbecues so you need briquettes. It was pretty quiet around us. The site had junk in it. Any picnic tables near us were half destroyed and seemed rotten. It seemed like the same black truck was driving by constantly so it felt like we were being watched. Maybe this was a coincidence. Also the wifi is useless as others have said. We will try to avoid this one next time.
Nice level pads. And pretty nice place but Wi-Fi is not very good
I had to change this to a single star (from 5) because this guy that runs the place is so cheap it's scary.
This was the first time we stayed at this campground and we will NOT stay here again. First your roads in around your campground were terrible (do you not know how to go get gravel and fix the pot holes) your garbage's were right full and there was garbage laying all around. Next who is the guy that mows the lawn he needs to take driving lessons he just about mowed over my dogs and granddaughter and then after they mow they need to go around and do some whippier sniper around the trees and camp sites. They didn't even check the sites to make sure they were clean after someone left. (Where's your golf cart). There was dead trees all over the campground.
They also do not enforce there rules there was a couple of camp sites that were laughing and drinking till 2:00 in the morning and they had brought there own fire pit to have a fire. Apparently there is to be not fires (what's up with that). When we went and told the manager he did nothing about it.
I believe that the people that run this campground need to change jobs. They are not at all interested in seeing that the campground is run properly or cleaned up properly. They are not outdoors at all and do not seem to see the things that need to be done.
On the brighter side they were friendly.
I am not one to normally give a bad score card However, I felt compelled to do so due to the nature of our long term visit to this park. Upon checking in back in June we were told that there would be a push out of all current rv'ers to the overflow for a convention during the dates of July 9-13, 2015. This was inaccurate as many of the long term guests were allowed to remain in their spots that they had. The owner indicated that "ALL" sites would be taken by the people traveling to the convention. All fine and dandy. Two days into the move we noticed that there were about 15 sites that were not taken by the conventioneers but by the nightly rentals. There was no discounted rate for the overflow area even though it has no utilities what-so-ever nor a credit for the days without utilities; in fact the rate went up due to the park being "full". Deception to its guests to accommodate nightly travelers and not its longer term tenants and to prosper and double their income at the expense of others is just wrong. The owners declare to be "Christian" yet their actions show something totally opposite. To put others into a crippled state of stay and to prosper through their greed is totally against the "Right thing to do". I would suggest finding somewhere else to stay just as we will be doing shortly due to the dishonesty and the greed of the ownership in this park.
The restrooms are very clean as they are closed most of mid day for cleaning. The wifi is absolutely horrible.
We being a traveling ministry were told of the "Good deal" we were getting due to the fact that we are a ministry Yet all others staying get the same or better monthly rate.
Reserved a spot. Cancelled almost two weeks in advance and they charged me a fee
of $15.75 saying it was a cancellation fee. WTH??? BEWARE of this place, They WILL rip you off. It takes 2 mins to reserve and two min's to cancel. They don't tell you of the cancellation fee ahead of time and ding you with it when you cancel. When i talked to the booking agent she argued with me, said they would be charging the fee anyway and hung up on me!!! Customer service at it's worst !!!
Would not recommend this campground to anyone. Tourism Saskatchewan should be ashamed of places like this and should not promote them. I won't be visiting Saskatchewan any time in the future.
Nice new campground. No leveling required here! Friendly staff, nice store. Will return next year if all goes well. Cheers.
