  Great place to shop. Parking underneath. Each Safeway carries different products so you may not find what you need

  It sure is a Safeway. It's big and pretty clean. You can buy groceries here. What else do you want?

  Can get quite busy with long lineups. But it is my favourite to go on work break to get some cheap 5$ meals. The staff are friendly and nice. However the store itself does not look appealing

  Worst grocery shopping experience in my life. Aside from very poor produce selection, lots of shelves empty tonight. But the worst was yet to come at checkout. I chose til 6, and think cashiers name was Brian. 2 people ahead of me and I should have cut my losses after the 1st or 2nd as was slowest Ive ever seen. In my turn up, he double scanned a product and could not delete it but needed an override. Without an apology or acknowledgement or advice what he was doing, he first tried another cashier for override card. That didn't work so he called up for an override. A few minutes later someone provided.
  Not 2 minutes later, Brian did the same double scan with no supervisor in sight and we were only half way through.
  I told cashier I was done and walked out, leaving my groceries.
  Got home, called the store to relay my experience and chose option 8 for customer service. Held for a couple minutes and then system looped back to options again as no one was answering. Tried 8 again and still no answer.
  Don't go. The worst.

  Good selection of groceries, including gluten-free options. So happy that they now carry cashew-based (non-dairy) ice cream!!
  
  Store layout is a bit confusing, because it's not rectangular, but I am slowly getting used to finding things.

  Clean and organized grocery store. Fruits and vegetables are almost always in great shape and don't go bad quickly like some other nearby stores. Staff are friendly and helpful in all departments where I've required assistance, and having your groceries bagged for you is a nice luxury. If you look for the non-brand items you can often spend as little as in the low-budget stores, and on some weekends they have a $10 off deal when purchasing $100 or more, which makes the deal even better. Highly recommended.

  Selection and prices are good.Convenient location-but 4 ave is way better service. Young staff at Macdonald location and George are very helpful,older women Maggie or something is rude,slow and pretty useless.
  Same with bakery employee women.Both are rude,never have anything out or ready. Manager seems to get walked on by old union employees and has no grapes to do his job. GO TO 4 AVE- STAFF ARE GREAT THERE.

  My favorite Safeway store around the neighborhood. This one is definitely better than the one at 4th avenue. Bigger and more organized. Always have amazing discount and never ran out of stock.

  I am only complaining about the milk in this store. For the last several months, the milk in plastic jugs have gone rancid well before the expiry date. Today (March 12) we threw out half of a 4 liter jug that expires (or is supposed to expire) March 20.

  It's a Safeway. They're all basically the same Fresh produce and nice layout. Couldn't ask for much more. The Starbucks inside has its own seating area if you need are break from pushing the cart.

  Staff very friendly. Great customer service. I even needed a cab because of all my groceries and customer service called one for me without question.
