Fabulous place and very friendly staff. Much preferred as compared to the Toronto Zoo. The train is so handy, especially having a child with a physical disability. Loved the ability to jump on and off. They were in the process of hooking up a few new rides, so hoping that they will also be included in the price of admission. The Merry Go Ground and ropes courses were fantastic. There are a few extras- feeding giraffes, ($5), budgie house ($2), and catch and release fishing ($2 for bait). Animals looked well cared for. Sadly did not see the hippos (hiding in the water). Splash pad was a nice bonus too. Had some issues with buying lunch and the pop machines lacking syrup. The staff readily corrected this. Wait times for receiving food were longer than expected and one pizza slice was completely cold by the time it reached us. Otherwise a great day. Particularly liked that items in the gift shop were actually reasonable.

We loved it!! So much to do (tram, rides, zoo, splash pad, playground, climbing structure, sand pit, paddle boats) and not overly packed. Well worth the money I paid. Almost everything included in the price (parking too!) other than the feeding of the animals. You can bring your own food and drinks or buy them there. Bring toonies to buy food for the goats. Feeding some of the larger animals is $5.

This zoo is giant! It has 9 main sections, each with its own theme corresponding to the animals that are in each area. There is a yellow "tram" thy can drive you to each of the stops and bring you back to the welcome centre at the end. Included is a small amusement park that contains a high rope climbing area, where you can do different challenges. There is an amazing variety of animals, even giraffes that can be fed up close, however it should be noted sometimes this is not offered at select times due to the giraffes diet.

The splash pad and activities offer a fun break for the kids. My daughter loves being able to feed the giraffes and I love that all the animals have tons of space and seem well cared for. The gator tram makes it easy to get around, and the restaurants offer good snacks amd fair prices. Overall an awesome place to spend the day. So happy we got seasons passes this year

Great place to visit with the family. I have gone multiple times over the years and enjoyed it just as much each time. Bring a lunch , they allow you to picnic 8n the animal areas, we had lunch beside the tigers. Lots of fun activities to do that are included with your park pass. If you want t9 feed animals bring extra moneywe were able to feed giraffes , hippos , and entered a bird cage where the birds land on you to eat. We spent all day there and could easily spend another. Again a great place to bring your family . Use wag jag to get deals on ticket prices as well I Dave 55 dollars on 4 tickets

we had my son's birthday party here and while we absolutely loved the place and had so much fun! however we had some issues with the staff but when I voiced my experience to them they immidately apologized profusely and made it right for sure! tons of fun for kids and adults and we will absolutely be returning!

Animals are treated very well. They are healthy and have lots of space to roam. Staff is informative and friendly. Great waterpark for the kids. Lots of food and water stations. Worth every penny

Great place to take the kids for a day.
Lots of activities year round; there's a water park area, giant sandbox, playground, carnival style rides, animals viewing, and more in the summer, 'Boo at the Zoo' in October where kids get to trick or treat through the park and collect candy/other treats, and other fun activities spread out over the season.
Overall its just a great (fairly inexpensive) place to spend a day out; especially if you take advantage of a Groupon deal!

Very fun place for all ages!! Lots of animals, and they have a tram that takes you around the whole park. Huge splash pad, play ground and ropes course kids would enjoy.

Lots of choices for food and decent priced, really good food too. Would not expect that kind of food level to be at a zoo. Get a membership for discounts, well worth it.

This place was fantastic. We went here while on our honeymoon in Niagara. It was very easy to get to with our car, and we spent almost the entire day there. There was a wide variety of big cats to see, and the big cat tour (at 11AM) was especially awesome. There were a couple other shows we went to where they do an animal show-and-tell which we loved. We otherwise got to see giraffes, hippos, a rhino, bears, several bald eagles, many different types of primates, a bobcat feeding and more.

All of the staff we came in contact with were friendly and knowledgeable. We went in early September, and it wasn't crowded at all. We had no problems getting great views of the animals.

If I had one minor complaint to make it would be that the map doesn't actually detail every path in the zoo, which was mildly inconvenient. But not a huge deal!

For Americans, make sure you bring a few loonies so you can buy food to feed to the animals. The zoo did otherwise accept our American credit cards.

Lots there for kids to see & do : midway rides, petting zoo, ropes course, exotic animals, birds of prey & reptile show & of course the splash pad. Tram tours are ok. Large ampitheatre on the grounds. Facilities are clean. Only bad thing I can say about Safari Niagara is why the hell do they have those ugly monstrositys everywhere throughout the park ? They're supposed to be "art" but they seriously ruin the astethics of the grounds.

It's an ok little zoo for younger kids. I liked that there was other things for the kids to do as well (rides, ropes course, splash pad, children's play area) & the price is decent. It's also nice that it's not so big, you can see/do everything in a day.

We have gotten passes going on three years now. We like the variety of activities here! It's a zoo but not too big to see all the animals not so small that it's boring. It's a happy middle! The play grounds, climbing thing and jumpy things are huge hit with the kids! We usually stop there for lunch so they get to play for a bit! I especially love there's no extra fee to use these facilities! Also love the alligator express! While we enjoy walking the park for the most part being able to hop on when you're far from the exit and have tired/hangry children who need to suddenly leave is a bonus! Splash pad is another huge hit for kids! Get hot walking around then cool off after lunch in the water! Even my 6yr old had a blast there last summer while my 1yr old enjoyed just sitting in the shallow water splashing.

Staff has been generally very pleasant. We've encountered zoo keepers through-out the park who engaged our children by offering insight on the animals behaviors things they like/dislike foods they eat or telling us the animals names! Little things like this make my kids feel special like they got insider info and only they know! It's nice that zoo keepers take the time to interact with guests as they could just as easily ignore us and continue on with their jobs. While we're on it there's one alligator driver who always gives the nicest smiles he makes me feel as though he actually recognizes our family on each visit!

Food is great, of course it's a little on the pricy side but not out of this world like most zoo's! We usually bring lunch but occasionally grab some fries from the truck! Which are tasty!

We are also happy to see the park has been making improvements to their large animal enclosures. We look forward to seeing bigger areas for the large cats this summer! And hope to and more as they able to continue providing better space for their large species.

Overall it's our favourite zoo to visit! Not small and sad like some in our area but also not huge like the TO zoo where we never end up seeing everything before someone melts down!

Good for the price but a lot of animals looked sickly. Didn't go on a hot day. Nice water park for little kids and playground is ok too. Gift shop was very reasonably priced. My daughter was thrilled because she loves giraffes and here you get to feed one.
