Nice little park we actually we were considering a seasonal site until we met Jack the ripper while playing fetch with our Dog Jack proceed to yell at my kids and myself and he then made it his misson nit pick about everything and drive by everyday afterwards Jacks got his favorites. Too bad because it could be a great park otherwisethe electrical is a little sketchy there it kept tripping breakers on the trailer and you would get a little buzz from the door frames now and thenhopefully they will get rid of Jack and get a friendlier more organized staff so I can give it 5 stars and go back

Well not be returning. Definitely catered to seasonal campers. If you are a weekend/ or occasional camper they put you in your own segregated area with absolutely no shade and one bathroom area which is a bit worn down and cleaned occasionally. The hike to the pool is quite downhill and no car access just golf carts or walking.

Played washers. And the people playing are a good bunch of good fun people

The overall cleanliness of the facility and care in which the pool was maintained really disappointed us during our stay (bathrooms, pool etc) :( While the children's playground was fun, the overall maintenance of many things left us wanting. We mentioned to the lifeguards on duty that there had been some fecal matter on the deck of the pool, and they simply rinsed the area with a hose (no chemicals to actually clean it), mumbling to each other that the pool had to be closed - but didn't close it and also failed to remove all of it, leaving the pool still open :( I don't think we'll be visiting again in general. A big disappointment, the pool is fairly large, but the neglect of care made it unusable. It's nice that they have events every so often. The non seasonal camping area needs more trees, a lot of the lots are in direct sun. There are a few neat things to do - like a giant chess board, pool table, and shuffleboard, but the whole pool situation really sucked.

I would give it minus 5 stars if I could. No access for disabled people, concrete barrier making you walk all your gear from the parking to the cabins. Jack is rude and uncooperative! Paid and reserved a golf cart and the day of our trip, he told us we couldn't have it!! So we lost that deposit. Horrible!

Well where to begin, my father who is a senior had a trailer there for 5years. he never missed a payment and paid for the full season at once never even late . My fathers health was declining, so my husband and myself were looking after the trailer upkeep etc Warden “JACK” began to question myself and said your father can not sublet the trailer which this was never occurring. After asking to have trees trimmed and were told nothing can be cut yet one day when we went to hand in the cards for the gate the last week of the season we went down to our camp site to read the hydro meter All of the trees were cut and trimmed right back and there was another trailer on the site we paid for , for the FULL season , I found out that trailer had been there for about two weeks , so after being accused of subletting and Warden Jack’s snotty and rude attitude it left a nasty taste in my mouth what makes me so mad is my father had paid for the full season and Now it is still his site until October 15 so we were told you can’t sublet but it is ok for Warden “JACK” to do this ,so what did we pay for these other people to use OUR site that was fully paid for ??????.be ware I would not ever recommend this camp site if you do what Warden “JACK” wants will be ok and he WILL try to intimidate you but he is just a grumpy Old man and should not be looking after a camp site he should RETIRE!!! DISGUSTING and

2nd time here. Central to the Falls wine tours etc. Great park. Beware gun discharge going off to keep birds of wine crops . 7 am to dusk.

The most Kid unfriendly campground I have ever been too. The guy that runs the place named Jack all he does all day is ride around on hi gulf cart and pick on kids for just being kids if they as so much go exploring he freaks out on them maybe he is scared they will find a group-op somewhere. Heck picture this his wife puts sand toys at the volleyball net for little kids to play in the sand and this idiot Jack stops and yells at 3 year olds for digging in the sand I would say thats real kid friendly.

It is a pretty solid place. The washrooms were in good condition 90 percent of the time, the staff is super helpful, and the pool is super well kept.

Would visit again.

Well at one time I would have given it10 stars. As a seasonal for many years,I have seen many changes in the park some good others not so good. I think they have forgotten when it comes right down to it we are customers and they are providing us a service. Good customer service is not suppose to be about bullying and intimation. We are here to have fun, enjoy our families and friends. Our escape and home away from home.
Resently changes have been made, without listening to the group who enjoy these activities, that make it inconvenient for most to attend. Many of us have opted out and because of this we are now blamed for the downfall of other park run events. There are 125 seasonal siteswhy is it that a handful of families are now being held responsible. Do you knock on the door of those other 100+ seasonals and demand their participation? Do you tell them that because they don't purchase 50/50 there will be no bands? If our participation is so important to the whole parks enjoyment why are our voices not heard? Why are we dissmissed,belittled and bullied?Why does the park owner not respond to messages and phone calls? Many of us volunteered often at most events run by park. We did so not because we had to but because we loved doing so. Time spent with our neighbors, making sure everyone enjoyed themselves. You have made it a chore to do those things now. Leave us be let us have our fun.
I expect there will be repercussions because of postingbring it I have my big girl panties on! Come discuss it with us as a group..let me know what time I can expect my cart ride chat.

Upon arriving, girl behind counter was unable to answer basic questions, and her standard answer is ,"I'll have to ask Jack." I was not given any information about the park, a map or wi-fi codes (which they have no security and it barely works if there are more than 4 campers in the park at one time). I asked if there were any activities to do and she said there were none. Not terribly friendly.

I think they may be over-priced considering they have no sewer hookups and you must schedule for a man to come around and pay extra for every sewer pick up. There is also no cable TV and the girl at the office said everyone must use your own satellite. I failed to ask if Americans can use satellite and the answer is no, our US direct and dish service will NOT work across the border. So basically you are SOL with nothing but a radio to listen to. ☹️

They had a large group come in on Victoria Day, a three day weekend and no one called anyone down for lots of loud talk, lots of alcohol in front of children (so much for family friendly) drunk people up at 4 am, basically canada's version of a redneck tailgater. Yet when everyone was gone and all the "transients" left, the manager's wife rode her golf cart like a broom down to my RV and pointed her finger at me and said she had enough of my barking dogs and it better stop. I have gotten up at 5 in the morning to walk the dogs on the weekend when the park was full so that my dogs would not catch a glimpse of anyone and start barking. I was sensitive to people's right to sleep in, Lord knew those drinkers were gonna need some shut eye. Seriously, I was offended by the manager's wife's attitude, more than the message. The dogs were barking while I was talking to the one guy left in the park, so I put them up.

My warning to future campers here. Don't expect much- like no trees or shade, no hospitality, no TV or cable, no consistent wi-fi, no help of any kind( I'll get to that one in a sec) , and most of the folks here aren't the sharpest pencils in the pack. Just say'in.

The final straw, so to speak, was when I got locked inside my RV. I had to close the door of my RV because they decided to mow, as they always seem to do, when I start my conference calls. I work out of my R V and they know this. So when I shut the door the plastic screen latch broke and fell on the ground. I thought I would get it after the call so I pulled the door shut. When I finished the call, I opened the door but now because the handle on the screen was broken off, I was locked inside the RV. I did not want to bend the screen too much because of the door sensor so I called the office, thinking I could just ask someone to come with a screwdriver and help me get it open. I was met with total resistance. The woman, whom I will not name,😶 says she does not know what anyone is doing but it will be several hours before anyone can come around to help. I told her again that I was locked inside my RV!!!! Was she sure she could not ask someone to come over for a few minutes to help? She says to me why don't I just use my "other door"? I was fuming 😡 by this time and basically told her if I had another door did she really think i would be calling her!??? Seriously no help.

Obviously I got myself through my own devices and through no help from anyone at this park. So don't expect help if you have trouble with your car or RV or anything else.

And btw. The pool is located about 40 ft straight down hill a deep, deep ravine that is not ADA accessible and requires you to either be 7 yrs old or rent one of their golf carts to get down to it.

We have been here 5 years of the previous 6. We find it a very relaxing campground, the tent sites are a very good size. The washrooms are always clean. As with any campground there will be issues..either with running out of TP or unruly campers. I agree that the sites could be marked a bit better, even after 5yrs we still get a bit confused. Every time we have come up they have had activities, for the kids and adults alike. We will keep coming back as long as it remains comfortable.

Stayed August 2016 civic long weekend. Booking the site was fine and staff were helpful in that regard. Finding the campsite was ok. The pull through sites are really crammed in together. There was basically 6ft between us and the back of the next trailer. Here is my biggest issue with the place. I don't believe management is interested or can afford to maintaining this place anymore. All of the activities like putt-putt golf, shuffle board, pool table etc. were completely covered in leaves and branches from the overhead trees. Why not take a leaf blower and clean them up for the biggest weekend of the summer? The pool area is ok and the water was warm. But the change/shower building is very scary looking and could really use a fresh coat of paint. There was a full fire ban in effect yet fires were still going (this was confusing for the kids). It is unfortunate that it appears this place is running down to the ground. We will look elsewhere to camp.

Cons: The front desk young lady wasn't terribly friendly. The campsites were VERY poorly marked. The picnic tables, apparently labeled with each site number, were difficult to locate (we had to find our own and move it and it wasn't the correct number in the end, but we had no choice). No trees for shade. The bathroom stalls kept running out of toilet paper. Our biggest complaint were the terribly loud, inconsiderate campers within feet of us (& others in other parts of the campground) that were loudly talking while using profanity EVERY OTHER WORD and doing so WELL past the quiet time of 11 pm on two of our three night stay. They were not quiet until 1:30 am! They also had a fire going on both of those nights when it was clearly stated at the campground office that fires were NOT permitted. PLEASE FIGURE OUT A WAY TO POLICE THIS NONSENSE!

Pros: Reasonably priced sites. Hot showers with decent water pressure. Friendly email exchange in the spring of 2016 leading up to our stay at the end of July 2016.
