Always worth the drive up there! Unbeatable prices, good enough selection of past year's models.

Customer service is usually good and they stay out of your way if you are just looking. Consistently the cheapest hats available anywhere. Clothing deals can be steals if you get lucky. Lots of low price brand name stuff here.

Had great experience in the past. Remember a nice selection of larger shoes (have a nice pair of Jordans that i purchased here) so drove across the city to buy a pair or two. However they have stopped carrying shoes in larger sizes and only had maybe two pair of 14 shoes that look like nursing shoes and are in a special section of crappy large size shoes. They have completely not even tried on standard shoe selection. 13’s were not even available on the 10-15 shoes i checked. People helping did not even want to check because they know they dont carry large sizes and it wastes their time. Extremely frustrating visit.

Customer service is always good. Never had an issue here. But the shoes suck. I stopped buying shoes here for myself long ago. I only come for my 9 year old. I bought her soccer shoes here and a pair of Nike's for school this year. Their baseball hats are good tho.

I love this place. Been going here for over ten years. Perfect place for back to school shopping or to save up some money and splurge on yourself or your kids at. You can get jerseys for dirt cheap, sweaters, shirts, and pants name brand and cheap. Backpacks, hats, way to many items for me to nameOh yeah and the main reason I go The shoes!!

Busy but very friendly atmosphere. They have all kinds if active and sports wear and also casual stuff too. All very decently priced. Customer service is also pretty good. They are always ready to help.

This place was nice at one point . Not much of a variety of Nike . I'm not a fan of adidas. Better to go to winners ! Or Marshall's to find actual good deals your not really getting much of a discount here and I wouldn't be surprised if other locations were the same anyways it's worth it to buy anything from here sometimes t shirts go for ten bucks but the sizes are way to big and it's very unfair to the hard working consumer .

Live around the corner, have shopped here for years. They tried to make me leave 20cm in size black leather purse behind the counter to enter the store even spoke to a manager. "It has two straps, it's considered a back pack" don't need shoes that bad and won't bother coming here again. Suggest they reconsider this insane policy, now headed down the street to buy elsewhere. Lame.

I had quite an amazing experience here. Staff was well orchestrated. One particular employee, Elliot was very helpful for me in finding Vans. Highly recommend this place

Good place to shop for sport shoes - plenty to choose from, and prices are pretty reasonable. Helpful staff. Though parking spaces are just not enough specially on weekends.

I bought a jacket from Adidas for 49.99. After one week the sleeves are already stretched out. When I came back to the store to exchange it manager said me we are not responsible for the things we are not a factory. And I left as is. So next time I will think should I buy there or go to original store.
I think most of those items are not originally.
So guys be careful when you making purchases there.

I've been buying running shoes here for more than 10 years. If you don't need the absolute latest fashions, this place has lots of runners in all kinds of styles, at discount prices. I can always find exactly what I need: all black runners that are plain enough to wear to the office. But they do have the fancy ones in all colours and weird styles too, as well as special ones for football, soccer, baseball, etc. I wish I knew the salesperson's name, it was years ago, but I sincerely thank them for pointing out that I would fit in kids' runners, which cost a lot less and have no PST sales tax. It's sometimes hard to find black women's runners but I can always find them in kids' shoes.
Running shoes aren't everything, they also have selections of sports clothing and gear. If you need a cheap T-shirt or pants, they have some "lesser-quality" clothing that's great for workout or work wear. Or underclothing, sleepwear, etc.
Great staff, great deals, nice assortment. Go there!

I've been to SVP many times at this location, and am generally intimidated going here since I don't really care about the shoe names or styles, I see something I like and I generally buy it. Most of the time the reps while do ask if you need something, I was assisted by Elliot. He approached me and my father with a smile and kindly asked us for assistance, we told him we needed running shoes and casual shoes in a uncommon shoe size (12). Elliot was quick to help find us a size 12 running shoes that I liked but the store did not the Nike Big High's in my size. Elliot went above and beyond and wrote down the information of the shoe, as well as provided different store locations that have the shoe in stock.

Definitely changed my perspective in a positive manner towards this store, I will be going back here in the future to purchase more athletic equipment.

    Thank you SVP and Elliot.

This place has been my go-to for anything amateur sports related. They have authentic jerseys, but also cheap workout T-shirts. Great selection of shoes, hats, backpacks, and other sporting goods. I've been a customer for almost 20 years now. I generally shop here 3-4 times a year. My only criticism is the customer service. There's nothing wrong with it, it just that the majority of the staff are probably 18-25 years old and are definitely just doing the job for the money. I have yet to encounter an employee that loves their job here.
