This was such an amazing experience I went with a girlfriend to celebrate her birthday she loves animals. The hosts were super nice and welcoming and it was so nice to learn about their farm and their animals they even give you feed so you can visit the animals and feed them. It was even better getting cozy and warm in the yurt with all the comforts of home with the wood stove to keep you warm and a comfy queen bed with plenty of blankets and so nice to sit outside and watch the night sky. Give it a try if you are that kind of outdoorsy person it’s worth it and a great experience for kids as well !!!
What a getaway! Our stay in the Kandy yurt was a perfect way to decompress. Lots of firewood was available to heat the yurt and visiting with the animals was probably my favourite part. We appreciated the farm tour and enjoyed learning about the farm and the animals. We can’t wait to book again for when the weather is warmer!
We had an absolutely amazing time! Must have solid fire making and maintenance skills if you’re going in the winter, as this is needed to keep you warm. I’ve been an avid camper for decades, so this wasn’t an issue for me. Otherwise, you might want to plan a trip in the summer or fall when fires are optional. The animals were so fun, and the owner was super helpful and friendly. Two baby lambs were born the day we arrived, which was incredible. Such a unique and wonderful experience overall.
Stayed here for one night and must say that it was truly a wonderful experience. Had never stayed in a yurt before but after this it will not be the last.
The yurt was beautifully decorated and well stocked with all the essentials (pots, mugs, plates) with a wood stove which made the yurt very nice and warm.
The owners of the farm were very friendly and welcoming. We could definitely tell that they really love and care for their animals.
Would highly recommend and plan to return
My boyfriend took me here for my birthday weekend and everything about it was amazing! The yurt was super cozy and clean and was stocked with everything you would need for the night. You get food to feed the animals as well as wood to heat up the fireplace. The owners were super friendly and accommodating. One of the highlights of the day was when they took the animals into the barn at night and showed you the whole process.
Overall it was a great experience to get closer to nature and also a good opportunity to learn about their farm, definitely would recommend.
