This is the cutest room I've ever stayed in! Cozy, clean and comfortable. Gracious staff and amazing value even during peak season. Wonderful view and great location. Definitely reccomend!

We stayed in Cottage 'A' which is part of a duplex behind the main hotel building and across the road from the river and a large stream behind. It has two bedrooms and is capable of sleeping 8 with a third bed and futon in the living room. There is a full kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave, stove, full size refrigerator Keurig coffee machine and more. A great TV and electric fireplace in the living room. Great WiFi. A patio out back with table and chairs and a gas barbeque. Very comfortable, feels like home.

Very nice rooms, with soft cushy beds and A/C and ceiling fans. Wifi is decent, and the complimentary hot chocolate is a huge plus. Didn't really use the kitchenette but appreciated the appliances!

Cozy, clean, comfortable. Queen Beds are offered in all rooms, and the ones we slept on are very comfortable. Portable A/C in the room keeps the room it's in very cool. Kitchenette, fridge, two burner stove, sink should you need it is offered in all rooms. All rooms tastefully decorated. Great location by the river, walking distance to main town street, restaurants and the rivers edge.

Best hotel I have ever stayed at. Beds are in two separate rooms, it's quiet, and everything is close by. Great staff, comfortable bed, 2 TVs. Above and beyond.

We stayed in one of the cottages of the motel with 4 adults for two nights. We found the Riverside motel to be a very nice motel, the cottage we stayed in were appointed very modern and complete with all the stuff you'll need to have a pleasent stay. Besides the nice cottages and rooms the owners are very friendly and hospitable: Hans & Janice absolutely do their outmost best to make your stay as nice and comfortable as possible. In short: we would definitely recommend the Riverside motel to everybody who wants to stay in Port Alberni!
