I had a great time in this B&B.
When I was long-relationship distance with my wife.
I visited in Vancouver for 11 days.
We wanted to make precious memory.
So, we went to the Vancouver Island, and we stayed this B&B.
I didn't know well which B&B is good in Nanaimo.
Finally, I found great B&B. My wife also she grow very attached to the area.
And the B&B owner showed us eagle watching.
It was amazing. I never seen eagle watching before I traveled.

Warren and Janette are the perfect hosts - warm and friendly, providing comfortable and home-y accommodations and creating unbelievably delicious and very generous breakfasts - They see to every detail so that your every need or desire is met. Room was very comfortable, private and quiet. Self contained in the garden area (flowers everywhere!), no stairs, so if you have mobility issues this set-up is ideal. Special feature: Every morning after breakfast, Warren will go out to the yard, having you watch close-up as he feeds their resident eagles with a long feeding scoop. Wow! Fantastic photo-op, but you've got to be quick! Warren is an amazing cook, and goes far beyond the norm to make your total B&B experience beyond expectation. He also cooked an extra early breakfast (6:00 a.m.) just for the 2 of us the day of our departure because we had to catch an early ferry. how generous! Should we also mention that he even went well beyond the call of duty by offering to do a little laundry for us when we ran out of a few essentials? Now, *that's* service! We would rate this B&B a 5+, and will be back again you can count on it!

We have stayed at the Graycliff Bed & Breakfast a couple of times now and each and every time has been an excellent experience. We are booking again this summer with my mother and father in law who have stayed there before as well and will only stay at this facility when visiting the island.
The rooms are clean and nicely appointed and the breakfast is spectacular. Janet and Warren are excellent hosts and put all the nice touches that have kept us away from motels while visiting Nanaimo.
A highlight of our trip is Warren getting the bald eagles to swoop down for some food. It is spectacular and exciting.
Sitting in the yard on the comfortable lawn furniture or in the hot tup and enjoying the cliff view of the bay is the best way to empty the stresses in your life.
All of the rooms they have are very very nice with lots of variety to choose from.
Enjoy your stay because I know that my wife and I love this place.response / report this review -

We sat in the yard for hours soaking up the stunning views! The suite adjoining the house costs a little more but is worth it for the huge window that lets you keep watching the water, mountains and eagles. (You can hear what is going on in the house, though.) Watching the hosts feed the eagles was pretty incredible too. This B&B was a surprise find for us and one of the most memorable and relaxing I've ever stayed at.
