Only stayed one night, everything was great. Nice big room, beds were comfortable, had a nice covered balcony with a table and chairs.

Very spacious room's, comfortable beds & pillow choice , balcony was nice to have outside air, back of hotel away from street. Clean, good amenities. Good assortment for breakfast, standard fare. Laundry facilities. Overall pleased.

A great hotel not far from downtown. This is my normal hotel while traveling for work in the area. The rooms are clean and the staff are accommodating. Great parking

Rooms are clean and spacious. Our room had a bar fridge, microwave and additional sink. The shower head was great with a massage setting. Staff were friendly. Business centre had two computers and a printer. Wifi was free, but not thst fast. Full breakfast with egg omelet, sausage patties, waffles, muffins, bagels, oatmeal, cereal and fruit. The breakfast area was really full on the weekend and didn't have enough seats. The staff was overwhelmed, but she did great. I'll definitely stay here again during my next visit to Nanaimo.

Great hotel, great service, great price.

I'll start with the presentation, because that's definitely one of the best things about this place. The hotel has a very elegant look to it, the lobby is very clean, it has an extremely well presented breakfast bar with lots of food options. The details, such as the signs and the walls all came together to make for a very pleasant experience.

The rooms themselves were quite comfortable, too. They had AC, a safe, a comfortable bed, a microwave, some good seats, a TV, a full guest guide, and a good view (at least from my room).

The breakfast bar was easily my favorite part. There was a nice selection of food there (Waffles that you toast yourself, bagels, omelet with cheese inside, bread, muffins, cereal, coffee, juice, sausage patties, etc.). And the eating area was nice as well. Everything was laid out nicely, and the tables were nice, comfortable, and clean.

Service was nice and easy as well. The receptionist was nice and offered a price match with the cheapest list price I could find.

There are some negatives that I should mention, however. First is the elevator. It's extremely noisy, and it's not very clean. Next is the washrooms. If anybody reading this goes and buys a room, make sure to put the shower curtain in, because the rod is curved outward, and so the floor will get completely soaked. Finally, the beds, while comfortably, were very clumsily made when I arrived. The sheets were uneven and wrinkled, and the pillows were pressed in.

Overall a very pleasant experience. The problems didn't really make the experience worse, and I'd recommend this hotel to anybody visiting the area.

Good location from ferries, close to restaurants and walking distance to lots of places.

Hosted some friends from out of town here. The staff were very unaccommodating. The experience put a damper on our friends experience here in town.

The hotel is ok. However they give you decaf coffee in the coffee machine Really decaf.. The omelet and sausage that they give you for the continental breakfast are just plain scary. I had to go to fast food to get coffee and breakfast Vacuuming on 10 am on the one day I needed to sleep!

Front desk staff was very accommodating. Beds and room were comfortable and spacious. Decent selection at the breakfast! You could however hear everything going on in the hallways and from neighboring rooms which did interrupt sleep. The gym was decent but could do with some free weights and maybe yoga mats of some sort.

Had a double queen room. Room is modern and comfortable. I liked having a 2nd sink so we can get ready a lot quicker in the morning! Breakfast room could be a lot more organized as the place for the toast and cereals is in a small corner. They only have a2 slices toaster so be patient. If you come from Victoria, be careful of the no left turn sign to get to the hotel.
