If you're looking for a quiet place, close to town this is a nice spot.
It's not the newest place, but the room was clean and staff was friendly. There is a PetroCanada close by that has all you need to snacks.

Old, dirty and nothing worked. Vending machines were all empty. Elevator was broken. We could here the people in the bar all night I would not recommend this place

EXTREMLY disappointed.In my mind Howard Johnson is a big chain so expected the rooms to be good! Other than the desk clerk when I checked in the place is a long way from being good.Elevator out of order and has been for a year based on previous reviews. NO restaurant. Place is VERY old and smells! Didn't dare walk in bare feet and check the bed thoroughly before getting in.A/C is in wall and I had to turn it off to sleep because it was VERY noisy. Old CRT T.V. Portable heater sitting in corner of the rooms so assuming no heat. Also, no night time desk clerk so security is an issue. And warning to make sure where you are booking from.Mistakenly booked from a second party site and was charged an extra 2.5% for currency exchange.

I havent stayed at the howard johnson, but i do shop at there liquor store. They have great customer service, and a great selection of my beer. To top it all off they have reward points program aswell!

This is a pretty old hotel. The receptionist was friendly but the hallways smell like beer and weed and the room smelled like smoke. The tv is probably older than my daughter (she's 27), it's a CRT. There's a pub here but it was closed at 9 on a Saturday night. There is a mini fridge but it was turned off. Bathroom fan doesn't work and I had to fix the toilet to stop it running. Couldn't even find controls for the heat. WiFi seems ok.

Friendly and helpful front desk. Quiet neighbourhood. Rooms dated but clean. Very good food in the adjoining rest/bar except the bar closed at 10

Its clean, is a place to spend the night. Nothing fancy, just somewhere to rest your head at night.
