We stayed one weeknight night in mid November. Room was clean and tidy. Maybe 4.5 for 1990s decor and small tv. Indoor pool and two outdoor pools were absolutely clean and a real treat. Terrific scenic and quiet location. A short easy drive to town. Very helpful staff. We’ll return asap.
This is a constructive review. We enjoyed our stay The front desk staff were so friendly and gave lots of tips about the area. The grounds were great, sadly the point hot tub was being maintained while we were there but we got to use the tub in the middle of the grounds which was just as lovely but without the view. We were a little disappointed In the room. it had very little natural light even though it had a balcony, it was kind of 'tucked in' not overlooking anything apartment from the wall of the room below. We were given a room that was obviously an add-on for a water view unit because there was just a door separating us from the other suite, we could hear them talking, very clearly. The suite itself was comfortable, but below average for the price, it needed maintenance, the wallpaper in the bathroom was very outdated and there were signs of mould on the ceiling. There were also about 4 spiders and webs on the ceiling above the bed/fridge area, this is something that should have been dusted/cleaned. Also, I don't know how this can be rectified, but there was ALOT of static electricity coming from the bedding in this unit. Dry air maybe? It was funny at first but not while trying to sleep and actually getting little shocks whenever we moved and actually seeing sparks!! I didn't know that was possible! All in all, the location and facilities within the grounds made up for the average room. 4 stars to the resort itself but 3 stars to the room, solely based on the room we were given.
Great place, amazing view. Room was small but very nice. Grounds are huge and we'll maintained. Breakfast on the deck overlooking the bay was awesome!
Although the room, views and grounds were amazing, I was very disappointed with the service. We were there for 2 days with no maid service when I finally went to ask what was up. Dirty towels, dirty bathroom, no coffee replaced. When I went to the desk she informed me that not all rooms come with maid service. I had also asked for coffee. Then she informed me that I would have to talk to the other office as we were in "Creekside". They weren't in the office at the time ( as is the case often) so I would have to call them. I then asked if I could at least get coffee before leaving. She told me I would have to get it from the other office. I was just a little incensed as I walked out of the main building back to my room. I ran into the service group on my way and asked if "we" were on the list today explaining the neglected room. She looked at her list and, surprise, we weren't on the list. We were leaving the next day and had had NO maid service. She did however tell me she would take care of it. When we got back we had coffee, our bed was made, and the toilet and sink were clean, but not the bathtub. You would think that a place that charges $160 a night would have maid service!!! The restaurant food is expensive and not very good. Eat somewhere else!
A beautiful and serene place. Enjoyed our week therebeautiful Bay area, amenities excellent. Our son went missing (affected with ASD) and they helped to track him down. All their staff was on it. We really appreciate it
We had a second floor water front view that was really nice. The tide went in and out twice a day and was fun to watch. The interior needed a little updating, but was laid out good, beds were comfortable and everything was clean. We had never been to Vancouver Island before and really enjoyed the trip. The accommodation were fine, and with the waterfront view, we recommend the property to anyone.
Been to this place since last year. The place is simply addictive with quietest nature oriented beach and walking trails. The best place on earth to sit and watch the sunsets from, especially from the back porch of the restaurant. There are a lot of families of deer that make you feel closest to wildlife. If you visit this place mid August, don't forget to checkout the sweetest BlackBerry loaded trails along the inlet. I just simply love the place and strongly recommend it if you're looking for a little R&R in a nice and quiet serenity.
While the location was stunning, the staff was rude at the front desk and told us we could check in early when we made our reservation and then made us wait for hours. Decorations in room we're falling apartment and dining room service was slow even though we were the only table. Spa was the best part of the stay by far!
Here for a week long vacation. Staying in a one bedroom Hotel unit. The overall facilities are very nice. However, some areas are under renovation at the time of booking. Room is very clean and comfortable.
This is our first stay at the resort and are completely enjoying it. The location being in a beautiful quite bay on the point of a peninsula hosting a hot tub and BBQ area. The restaurant has great service however could use a better chef. Was disappointed that everything was overcooked. Come on, the west coast of BC. The salmon should be perfect every time.
Wonderful rooms and nice property. It would be nicer if there was a shuttle service and the indoor hot tub jets worked.
Lovely room and got a very good rate for off season. It was clean, well appointed and really liked the heated floor in the bath and shower area. I will definitely be back!
