This is a great place! I got my nails done here two times, and both times were great! It’s very clean and organized and they take you in right when you walk in!

I get the "deluxe pedicure" with the hot stones and it's great. Actually give a good massage which is one of the main reasons I go for pedicures.

Mani and pedi done perfectly. Communication with the girls was great. Can take you in at any time. Awesome experience. Feels great every time I come here.

Decent place if you need a quick mani but the quality isn't the best. Usually lasts about a week but they do walk-ins which is convenient.

I have been twice and will go back again. two of my nails chipped easily with the shellac the second time, and I went back and they fixed them promptly and without charge. I usually have strange requests on my nail style due to my work, and they have no problem accommodating me. I -adore- their chrome selection very much. I don't mind the staff changing between jobs, nor do I care if they speak their language in front of me. I'm there for nice nails, and they work quickly. I'm never left sitting too long, and both times I walked in. Great job guys!

VERY very pissed just before vacation went there for i was having very tuff week. This location is close to my work. I was very much looking forward to having nails painted feet rubbed and to get quick chair message. Message Chair does not work o.k not to big deal. Next my questions for future appointments seemed enoying to lady in charge. ANY way lady doing feet did know how to rub feet but this is the part i'm pissed about so angry cursed her so many times on vacation she cut my big toe, at the time it did not seem so bad but the next day my god my right heel was hacked and the toe she cut was so red. NEVER AGAIN two weeks later my toes and heal still hurts.

The pedicure was amazing. There was a massage chair, really cool designs… The smell was a little weird though

    Pretty good experience!
I have come here to get acrylic nails only on special occasions.

Make sure to call head to get an appointment and make sure that you request that they use clean tools and new files because they don't use a medical Autoclave just UV heat sterilizers.

The thing that bothers me is that they speak in a language that I don't understand in front of me and It makes me feel super uncomfortable.

The other rude thing they do is leave a customer for a long time and end up getting worked on by all the staff not the original staff member who they actually booked with.

The service I usually pay for with a tip is usually $55!

So the quality is pretty good but very fast.

I got full set of acrylics with shellac in less than 45mins.

The ladies at the end argue with each other who's doing the shellac nail polish like it not there job and each lady give an attitude when they don't fell like they want to even do it.

I would not even rate this place. Got a pedicure done there. After a few days I noticed that the cuticles were getting red and went to the doctor. They had told me that they were infected and the only way was the tools that this place used. Unsanitary tools were used. I was so disappointed and felt that people should know. As well they were extremely unprofessional A place like this should not exist.

I have been coming to Nails # 1 for over 15 yrs. This is by far the BEST salon in Winnipeg! Most considerate/ kind/cheerful staff. I have never in all these years ever been disappointed. Salon is lovely and clean and all services of best quality. I have never looked at another salon since!

Worst service ever . Didn't pay attention to my manicure and the staff was very rude. I wonder if there was any option for the negative rating.
They were not clear on the prices.
    Worst experience ever.

I moved to Calgary over a year ago but always came to see Daniel for my coffin shaped nails. I just came back to Winnipeg and no one in Winnipeg or Calgary has done my nails as well as Daniel.
Today when I walked in they took me in right away without an appointment and Daniel still recognized me ,although he was really busy with hair and all.

As I got Daniel to do my nails he gave me the right coffin shape I always wanted. He got me the perfect nude color I cannot find anywhere else!

Whenever I visit Winnipeg I will always come to Nails #1 to see Dan. I will attach a pic of my beauutiful nails to the salon page 💅🏼💅🏼

Came in with two friends for pedicures before a wedding. They fit us in easily, there's so much space! You could bring a group comfortably and there's lots of staff. We had attentive service, receptive to requests for more pressure, less heat, etc. Spa pedicures with hot stone massages were on special for only $35, and was worth the money. Good value for what we paid for. Salon is quite clean, all equipment was sterilized first and disposed of after.
They did not take credit, only debit or cash, and you prepay, then have to tip in cash. Our helpers put on the polish then left to do other clients and never talked to us again, so we kindof just left.
