  Always a pleasure! Steak is always a sure choice! Seafood here is quite decent as well! Hy’s has sure stepped it up since the days over by Eaton’s!

  Great food and very fine service. My wife and I celebrated my 65th birthday. The bill was just over 200$. Having ordered some steak sauce I received their 1ONLY SAUCE, 0.25 oz. With that came a charge of $1.24. WOW A memorable evening.

  This is one of Winnipegs premier steakhouses. The food is lovely and decor impeccable and the service excellent. We went for burger week and $18. Burger and fries with their famous cheese toast. Very good. Other meals we have had their mainly steak delish. The wine and cocktails for 2 people would make up half the bill. I think too much $14. For a cocktail. and cheapest wine $45.a bottle and $55.a glass for brut Champagne and $25. for a less quality.

  The good
  -Fresh Oysters
  -Black & Blue Ahi Tuna (Actually fantastic)
  -Filet Mignon
  The bad
  -Steak Neptune (Steak was not tender (New York) and the crab was not crab.)
  -IPAD menu for the wine list (had no way to sort on types of wines, and just was too complicated to figure out what type of wine. They had wine sorted by region. Thanks it. We just asked out waiter.)

  The food is spot on but priced a little higher than it deserves to be. We've had issues with service on more than one visit and have no interest in returning. Last waiter was amused that my wife was allergic to blue crab!

  Wonderfull food and drinks! Unfortunately the service in the bar was so slow, empty glasses on tables and you practically had to trip the waitresss in order to get a drink.. Very poor

  Filet mignon was a proper medium rare, and the portions were decent, however, for the high price I expected more. Nice quiet atmosphere and very good service from the staff. Wine and beer selection was good, although no local options are available.

  Easily the best steak house in Winnipeg. The service is always impeccable and the decor is subdued dark and slightly different than most I've been to. Steak Neptune is worth having..

  We visited here for my fiancée's birthday and we had an excellent time. The food was very good with both steaks cooked exactly as we requested them. We ordered the Caesar salad and of course, in Hy's fashion it is made in front of you. A bit of a novelty but it was a wonderfully delicious salad.
  
  It is a pricey place but I felt it was well worth it.
