Pretty small and simple. Fewer stores compared to other malls, but it's easy to get around if you know exactly what you're looking for. Along with a good parking lot and a bus loop, it's a good "get-in, buy something, get-out" location. Open but currently in renovation.

Great selection of stores, undergoing renovations, there's a Smitty's, Dollarama, Sheffield's, Canadian Tire, Winners, Sears, 2 Hair stylists, and Good Life 24-hour Fitness Centre (attached to the mall, but separate entrance) in the mall with a great selection of dining options in the food court, as well as a McDonald's, Liquor Mart, Mark's, Home Depot, Staples, Jysk, Moore's, Sunova Credit Union, Scotiabank, and Salisbury House across the street (on Leila) and Shoppers Drug Mart, Pet Land, A&W, Pizza Pizza, Easy Home, Shell, CIBC, and Enterprise car rentals (across McPhillips), and a 24-hour WalMart within 4-6 blocks (behind the hospital).

The new and renovated businesses in the mall are nice. Big food court, with standard selections. This is now almost an outlet/clearance mall. Good if you don't mind construction to get a good deal.

At the time of writing this, stores feels like empty. Although there are still quality tenants like Winners, Canadian Tire, Dollarama, Foot Locker and Sears. The food court serves a variety of dishes from Canadian to Asian menu. There's also Goodlife which is very convenient for gym goers and if you can't afford gym membership, the mall is open early if you want to do walking exercise especially during extreme cold winter.

There is Shoppers drug mart as an anchor store, it is fairy big. Also a grocery store called IGA. Great variety of foods. The meat is fresh and basically it is a good store. There are some restaurants like fried chicken, sandwich place, dollar store. This outside mall is in Richmond, BC on Garden City and Blundell Road.

It's an old mall, and it looks the part. The floors are generally dated, as are most store fronts. There isn't a very good selection of stores; a few volume clothing stores, no big brands, no big names in the food court, old seating in the food court. The biggest plus is the parking; parking is free, readily available (I've never seen the lot full), and spaces are a decent size. Overall, I would suggest it over Portage Place, but that's it; any other major mall in the city is significantly better.

I don't know what other people talking about that came from "different areas" Garden City a nice decent mall I know it's not the "ideal" of this mall to be a "giant industry" like St. Vital and Polo Park to compare I don't think Garden City needs to expand it's building like if taking more room from the back food court parking lot
