Pretty good guys.and not to bad pricing for Canada.
Extremely poor customer service I received today. Basically I was a little salty about my order I had placed and instead of “customer service” answering my question I got hung up on. So I call back right away to find out the name of the said rude employee and low and behold nobody is fessing up to it WOW mopac I’d expect more from you guys seeing how I’ve spent thousands of dollars with you guys. Man up take responsibility for your actions and when you have a irate customer DONT hang up on them you will just piss them off even more instead try to smooth out the conversation and LISTEN!!
First time I have dealt with Mopac. I ordered a cold air intake over the phone. Was given a price and gave credit card number. Picked it up today and noticed price was more than I was quoted. Obviously will never buy here again!
Their return policy's are outdated. They corrected the issue I had with the service I recieved, but I still do not agree with their no return policy. On the upside great pricing on performance parts
Had a dyno tune performed by Nick, Car made some great gains and runs so much smoother! Nick went above and beyond for me and replaced some faulty parts and answered all my questions and gave lots of pointers for up coming mods in the future! Highly recommend! Thanks also to James who is always helpful and knowledgeable!
Awesome staff that is very knowledgeable. Large selection of high performance parts. Probably the best speed shop around.
Just use summit. You can go online look through the massive catalogue for what you need and what price you want to pay. No online catalogue or flyer from mopac Summit's shipping is faster even going over the border then having to wait for their stock order. 2-3weeksYou might say you can't return something from summit. Oh but wait look at mopacs return policy. Literally put a toothpick under the nail of your big toe and kick a wall. It will feel better then going there.
We called in with a part number, and were told the part was in stock. I sent my driver to pick it up. 40 min drive. She was not expecting to investigate the parts so she assumed that the part was correct and returned with them. The parts were wrong. That sucks, that happens.
I informed Mopac and was told that if they were not installed they could be returned. Great! Then we learned that there would be no refund, only a in store credit.
My question now is, did the sales person know that the part was wrong in advance? If Mopac is guaranteed your business as soon as they have your money, what incentive do they have to ensure that the parts you purchase are correct? Well, here I can Help. The answer is; to avoid having angry customers who after not only wasting their time but insulted as well, leave bad reviews.
Gross
Chronically difficult to deal with. I don't know why they are all so arrogant and how they think a business can function with absolutely terrible customer relations and service. Take your business elsewhere, honestly Napa is great and Lordco is even a lot better than these guys. Hugely overpriced too. I buy most parts online or the two I just mentioned.
Buy your parts online there cheaper and you don't have to deal with the person behind the counter that all have an extreme lack of knowledge so you have to give them the part number anyway unless you want to spend hours looking at catalogues with them
Also when you have a problem online there quick to find a solution at mopac if you have a warranty expect it to take a minimum of 3 months also they only do in store credit on returns so make sure you really want to deal with them before giving up any of your hard earned money cause you'll never get it back I'm personally out 300$ because i purchased a replacement part because i couldn't wait 3 months . Update: I did finally get a refund 6.5 months after returning the defective part
2015 Aug: Bought several parts after sales rep chose the part after seeing my vehicle and researched the catalog. Went to install and was wrong part. Went back next day, sales rep I dealt with was not in. Another rep said "nope sorry no refund". Huh?! I didn't ask for a refund I asked for the right part and to take the current one back in the same plastic and box. Refused. I am guessing he had no clue and was too afraid to admit so he hid behind a façade of arrogance. I went elsewhere. Sold the part on line ensuring the deciding detail for the part mount was disclosed. No issues. Will only deal with the same rep that has never steered me wrong.
