Staff was rude on entry, asked to do pickup order and the lady at the front acted like I wasn’t her problem anymore, just said “go to the bar for that” ok no one helped me so I stood in the way of the servers. Ordered, came back and me and buddy tried paying for our food. Their card machines are absolute garbage, took 15 minutes of attempts to pay while our food went cold in the restaurant IN FRONT OF ME. Finally my card worked but my friend had to use the ATM and pull out $40 cash and Montana’s had to reimbursed him for the ATM fee. RIDICULOUS! Never coming back to this location! No more chances! Have fun microwaving your food like we did when we got home.
P.S I’ve heard their card machine problem is a common occurence! No excuses at this point.response / report this review -

The food was great! I ordered the chicken tacos and they were delicious. Ate here on a Saturday night and there was quite a wait for the food. Our server was good but she took at least 5+ minutes to get to us after we were initially seated. I've had terrible experiences at other Montana's, but I'd return to this one in the future.

HonestlyI'm here at this very moment with oir group of 15, which includes 3 children, and have been sitting at this table with my family for exactly 1.5hrs. It took 40 minutes to get our drinks and 1hr 15 minutes to get 2 appetizers. May I add here that I called this restaurant Tuesday late morning to be put on the "1st" priority list to accommodate all of us. Also called back at noon today to confirm our group for 630. Never again. Wonder if our order will be rightI see our appetizers were doubly orderedand taken back to the kitchen. They could have at least comped us those 2 dishes to keep our hungry tummies from eating itself. 1hr 35 minutes.

Great food and great service. After enjoying our meal and having a amazing server who always checked on us. We settled the bill having the manager show up to make sure our time and meal was satisfactory. This made for a very enjoyable time so I highly recommend this place.

Gave this place 2 stars. The food was good. Service from day staff was horrible. Evening staff was awesome but there was only 1 working bathroom and when I told the waitress she gave me a dirty look and she walked away. We stayed there for another hour or so and no one went to clean the washroom. So disappointed in that way.

Chantel was my server tonight at Montana's she was fast and happy. Best service I've had in a long time eating out.ill definitely be coming back just for the service.

I used to really like Montana's. Last time we went here was back in December and we really enjoyed it. However this time was different. The wings are not good they are way to crispy do not have nearly enough sauce and were way over done. I had the smokey peach lemonade drink and it wasn't very good the service was terrible our server did not make it back to ask us if we wanted another drink so instead of staying and drinking for a while we just decided to leave. Bad service. Bad food. Portions got smaller and the prices went up. Very disappointed as this was one of the only chain restraints we actually used to enjoy.

I was there yesterday, Easter Sunday, and it was NOT busy. First off, it took twenty minutes to even get a glass of water, an additional 20 minutes to receive our starter, and then an addition half an hour to get our main. This was ridiculous. For the long wait, you would think that your food would be at least warm? No, try again. We got our food cold, and no server around to let them know if we could have it at least reheated. We also had no clue who was our server, and the multiple servers that were around just stood and looked at the televisions instead of helping. This was a ridiculous and terrible experience. DO NOT GO HERE.

We had a wonderful experience at the Montana's 8th Street location. Our server Dakota was very friendly and had great timing. He got us our food very quickly and was very well mannered.

Have gone a few times in the last few months. Service is decent. Last time, took ~15 minutes to get waters as the waitress forgot (didn't admit to it, but wasn't busy with other tables).
Food is pretty good as well. I'd probably more recommend the burgers/ribs than some of the pasta. I would recommend the potato skins for an appy.response / report this review -

I don't eat out much. Went for the half-price ribs and ordered a root beer. Had too much of both and didn't feel very good after that. My own fault? Probably. Still, I think I'll go elsewhere next time.

Food was incredible. I've never had a bad opinion of Montana's but it was better than I expect. Staff seemed to be a little under qualified or nervous but happy nevertheless. DEF recommend

The food was delicious as always. I got the 7oz Hand Carved Steak Fillet that came with crispy seasoned waffle fries. Got the steak medium rare and it was delivered as I expected. At 3 o'clock on a Saturday, it was mostly empty so service was fast. I'd recommend this place over and over again. I've never had a bad time.
