I like the food I get at Amigos the only problem is that I was accidentally served gluten and when I tried to confirm with the runner that the tortillas were corn she got annoyed with me and said they were. 5 minutes later the server rushed over and told me the runner had brought me the wrong tortillas. I had already started eating and I was in pain for the next 5 days over this. This was an honest mistake and I wouldn't be upset if the runner hadn't acted like I was being rude for trying to confirm something that seriously impacts my health. That being said I will visit Amigos again. The server was very sweet despite being very busy. I just hope what happened to me doesn't happen to anyone else with allergies.

I've been a regular here even though I live out of town I always make sure I eat here at least once while I'm in Saskatoon, it's just too good to miss. Massive portions top quality Mexican taste, nothing is skimped on here. Then they always have live music coming through, with guest local brew and mexican imports. If you want to stuff yourself stupid on amazing original tasty mexican meals this is the place.

Good atmosphere, good food. Our reservation somehow got lost in the shuffle but they made room for us.

Such good mexican food and delightful lime margaritas to boot. A little patio in the back that somehow doesn't get as crowded as other places, which is nice because it's pretty dark inside which can be a drawback on a beautiful sunny day. Also a great live music venue.

Great food, great people. It reminds me of what a community centre use to be about: family. This community centre known as Amigos Catina caters to all the stages of a family's life cycle.
I have been 3 times and every time is the same - impressive.

Great food, but occasionally they will not allow orders for pick up because they are too busy, or closing the kitchen early.

Fun place and good for kids but don't ask for mustard. For some inexplicable reason they charge a dollar for a side of mustard. In the mustard growing capital of Canada, no less. Absurd.

I think we moved to Saskatoon a year or two after Amigo's opened. That was a long time ago. It hardly seems as though any time has passed since I congratulated the owners after their 25th anniversary celebration. In some ways, the place has changed a lot over the years - they expanded their patio, they undertook renovations of the interior - but in other ways it's remained a constant. This is the place to go for music, especially alternative music, and it's got a reputation known across Canada for that.

But I've always enjoyed the food the most. I've met a lot of Mexicans and a lot of Canadians who work in Mexico. The first thing they say when they go to Amigo's is, "This isn't Mexican food." Then they always add, "It's good. It's not really Mexican, but I like it."

I often think that the food is good because of the atmosphere of the place. It's the community. Look around. Most of those people are "regulars". Even so, you won't insult anyone by sitting in "their" regular seat or at "their" regular table. It's the kind of place that welcomes you like you're a regular, even if it's your first time.

They are always adding to the brews they've got on tap, and I'm especially pleased to see that they recently included Nokomis and Black Bridge among their offerings.

Great place to see bands, plus the food is decent to boot. Has a few great local beer options as well!

Fantastic location for gatherings, events, and parties with lots of room. Their roast beef is the best cold-cut sandwich I've ever tasted, bar none!

Delicious food choices. I've had many meals here and it's always satisfying.
Very generous portions are offered; typically one entree could be shared by two people.
    Nice atmosphere. Very relaxing.
    Great beer choices on tap.

Great menu and near trendy Broadway Ave. Interior is in need of a proper upgrade. Parking availability is pretty good. Live music make this a great, friendlier alternative to Buds on Broadway.

Love Amigos! Lunch set-up is great as is the service. They also have live music playing in the evening on occasion (weekends) that provide a really great atmosphere for those looking to get away from their typical hot spots.
