Still good food. The restaurant is in a quiet residential area. The deck is delightful in summer. Good relaxed atmosphere. Good spot for after work outings or lunches.

Mexican cuisine is one of my favorites. Las Palapas has such high ratings so I checked it out- I was very disappointed. As a vegetarian the menu is extremely limiting- the refried beans contain animal lard. I have a few other let downs that happened during my visit but instead of listing all of them, I can safely say I won't be returning.

LOVED the Mariscos, enchiladas stuffed with shrimp and crab. I could definitely taste the big chunks of fresh seafood. So glad that it wasn't the rubbery-type shrimp or tiny little shreds of crab you can hardly detect. Also SO glad that it wasn't totally drowned in the sauce as I have only had that kind in restaurants which prevents you from tasting the tortilla and fillings. The only disappointment was the Bite & Kiss Shrimp, apparently in a 'jerk" seasoning. I wonder if it wasn't made right that night but it was a very basic and bland, bland small portion pile of shrimp, very unexceptional and definitely not jerk seasoned. Other than that I am overall satisfied. Also loved the decor!

It was a fantastic first time at Las Palapas. The servicr was phenomenal, and the food was really good. My 2 kids loved the kids style burrito and we all had an amazing experience. We will definitely be going back there.

Usually we have a great time there but this time we had a server named Heather and she made our experience pretty dismal. Waited a very long time to be able to order anything and getting a second round of drinks was nearly impossible. Food wasn't very hot and my friend didn't even get what she ordered and the server didn't even bother to try and fix it. When I asked for change she bluntly put it down and left without a word. Wasn't a super great way to have supper

So good and offers food i can eat given health concerns. Have everything from spice to sweet. Love it and i dont like in Saskatoon. The drive is definitely worth it.🤘

Great little Mexican place nestled into a cozy neighbourhood. Excellent service and low wait time. The food was great. I'll go again if I'm ever in Saskatoon again.

I Love Las Palapas I come here whenever I'm missing Mexico it gives me the little taste I need to get through the winter. The Pazole is amazing! And the coconut ship is to die for!!!! They need more drink specials though. Especially on their taco Tuesday night's.

I don't get to visit here near as often as I would like. I love the food. The beverages are very tasty and the service staff is exceptional.

We have now enjoyed two visits to Las Palapas. I can't give the staff at this restaurant enough pats on the back. The wait staff are friendly, the food is fresh and tasty, the atmosphere is relaxing. We enjoy going there so much.
If you haven't tried it and you live close by walk on over. The parking is not the best, the food more than makes up for that.response / report this review
