Service was good, no complaints there. Decor is simple and no issues.
The skillet was very plain flavour with the exception of the potatoes which were good. I feel it needed some sauce or that ketchup was the expected sauce to use. If a dish relies on ketchup, that means it needs a change to the recipe.
Eggs Benedict's was good with a side of the same potatoes however there are better hollandaise sauces at other places such as Cora's or Poached.
I would eat here again but I would not go out of my way to return. Hopefully the Lunch or Dinner options are better.response / report this review -

Came for breakfast. Good menu variety with standard breakfasts, pancakes, burgers, wraps, omelettes, skillets and benny.
Food came out with great presentation, but didn't quite hit it for us on taste. It was ok but not anything I'd recommend. Coffee was great though.
The vibe of the restaurant was an older crowd, likely regulars, and there was only 1 server who was not overly friendly. She did her job but I didn't see her smile once.response / report this review -

Went here for the first time, and was very impressed. Had breakfast, food was amazing, coffee was very, very good. Great service all around. Do not hesitate to give this place a try.

Great pizza! Awesome variety on the menu. Our server was very friendly and humorous. The music was a 2000's playlist which had some inappropriate tracks for a family grill o thought. I was trying to have a serious conversation with friends while DMX blared. Other then that it is a great spot to check out.

I ordered from Haywood's grill on skip the dishes and everything was fantastic. With our food we ordered a bottle of pop which didn't come but I called and told them it was missed and one of their staff drove it right over which I thought was great because the order was originally delivered by the skip the dishes people. The food was wicked good, the best part was the deep chocolate cocoa cake. We will forsure be eating here again!!

Used to be really good with food and service. Still are, but felt like they were a little understaffed. It took about 20 minutes for our order to be taken, and about an hour before we got our food and they screwed up the order. Might have been the day, (Sunday, on a long weekend), but still great tasting food.

Good food at reasonable prices. I had the hot cutlet and fries which was tasty, with mushroom soup as a starter which was very good. Between our 3 kids, my wife and myself the bill came to just over $65 (one one kid had a kid's meal)

I love Haywoods! We found this little gem because we lived in the area and we just can't stop going back. Whether it's for a Sunday buffet or a Friday night pizza.no matter what you pick to eat here. it's delicious and home made! The amazing staff are also very welcoming each time they see us. They always have a smile on their face and are ready to get you fed and watered! Way to go Roxy for finding such great people to work for you. Thanks everyone at Haywoods for such a great effort. :)

Had our company Christmas party here. Homestyle meal. Turkey, real ham, mashed potatoes, real gravy. Scallop potatoes, veggies. Outstanding!

A place to pay $ 25.00 for 4 glass of draft beer on a Monday afternoon. Does a neighborhood bar is so expensive in Saskatoon ? After travelling so many places in Canada and US this was something really a surprise with the kind of place and service (not undermining). But, simply a rip-off for your money to enjoy few beers.
