Sandwich here was delicious! Nice spot to grab coffee and a bite, can also walk around the wharf and there is a kids playground by the building.

We ordered a piece of banana bread and quickly noticed that it had mold on one side. We got a refund and they were very nice about it but they didn’t throw away the remaining pieces of banana bread. It’s probably for the best that we noticed the mold. I wouldn’t want to eat a piece of banana bread that was that old and dry anyways.

I stop by frequently and enjoy the ambiance and a great light breakfast with decent service. I stopped by for breakfast this morning and ordered a latte and a breakfast sandwich. When I took a sip of the latte I had to spit it out it was so hot beyond embarrassing it was painful. It scalded the inside of my mouth and tongue to the point where it blistered and I am still suffering at midnight. After it happened I talked to the staff, they were dismissive. I suggested that they should use a thermometer and the girl who made my drink said she had used a thermometer and had made the drink extra hot (I did not ask for that). I would suggest the management should check how the thermometer is calibrated or recommend some training about appropriate temperatures… nobody should have blisters in their mouth from a sip of coffee. This girl NEEDS training, and the staff could really use some training about how to deal with customers in situations like this. I was very disappointed with the service and their response to my situation there was no effort to get ice or cold water. I asked the staff for the manager's card, the email bounced! NOT IMPRESSED.

Reasonable prices and a good selection of breakfast pastries (bagels, muffins, cinnamon rolls) and a couple of breakfast sandwiches. They will take US$ cash but at a 1:1 exchange rate. They do accept credit.

Good coffee. Seats are comfortable. Lots of food to eat there or take away to walk the dock walkway or the park. Parking is limited and it is pay parking.

WORTH GOING TO.
Victoria has a million coffee houses but both Moka houses are worth going to. This one isn't as groovy as the cook street location but it's nice and carries a lot of the same fare as the home base.
