I have seen Kat for many different things over the years, and keep going back because I love the experience each and every time. (Wax, Sun spot removal, and facials.) Today I had an Oxygeneo Facial, and felt so pampered and refreshed. My husband even commented how good I looked as soon as he saw me. My skin looks healthy and glowing, just what I needed. Definitely recommend seeing her for any of your skincare needs.

These girls are AMAZING! They have one of the friendliest staff I have ever been to. I got 2 services done (last lift and tint and a brow lamination) and they did a fantastic job at both! I’ll definitely be coming back in 8 weeks!

I’ve gone to a bunch of different places to get my nails done in Victoria, and Deco is still the best. It’s easy to book online, is in a great location (easy to get through by bus and tons of downtown parking), and offers great service. Every time I go, they’re running on time - and if they aren’t, they call you at least an hour before your appointment to ask if a slightly later time works for you.
The location itself is bright, clean, and has a nice ambiance. Every person I’ve ever encountered there has been really great at their job and super personable. I’ve never received poor service, and my bails always look great and last at least two weeks.response / report this review -

I love this salon. The atmosphere and quality service is unmatched to any other place I’ve been to in Victoria. I’ve seen Chelsea for my nails and I hope to see her for a LONG time! She’s amazingly talented, professional, and the work she produces is PERFECT! I’ve never had better nails. Thank you Deco De Mode and Chelsea! You all rock!

Had my first-ever lash lift and tint and the whole process was explained to me at every step, the technician was nice, kind and friendly and professional. Excellent CoVid protocols in place. Lovely salon interior. Amazing results on my lashes! Friendly receptionist on checkout.

Terrible work, called and left a message for manager that i wasn't happy with services. Never heard a word. Over priced. I expect decent work when I pay high prices.

I had my makeup done for my wedding/15 year anniversary with Kara. She did an absolutely amazing job. It looked so natural and flawless. She was lovely to work with and I cannot recommend her more highly!!

I had my first hard gel nail set done with Lisa, who was fabulous! I felt pampered and as a relative nail newbie, totally at ease. She knew what was best for me, provided a QUALITY set of nails, going to get my nails done here from now on. 100 Percent recommend.

My two daughters have been coming into the spa for eyebrow threading, gel nails, and lash extensions for the last 4 years and have always left with beautiful nails and brows. All the ladies are professionals in their specialty who will always make sure you are satisfied with the result.
When my eldest daughter was graduating high school she had her nails perfectly matched to her dress by Anastasia and her hair was beautifully styled by the same family owned hair salon Gold Hair Lounge.
Definitely the only salon we trust and recommend in Victoria.response / report this review -

I don't like to write bad reviews, but I was really disappointed with the service I received at Deco De Mode. I booked a volume lash extension online. I was a few minutes late the day of and the lash technician wasn't overly rude but she wasn't that friendly either. She showed me pictures of the classic eyelashes and the volume I decided on the volume based on the photo (which was not at all accurate) I ended up walking out with huge eyelashes that looked extremely fake, which is not what I was hoping for - although that may be someones cup of tea which is fine. After showing me the photos the lash technician didn't even ask how my day was going. During the appointment I was really uncomfortable, the bed/table I was laying on didn't seem to have any neck support, and I have a bad neck and back so it was hard to lay there for an hour and a half in extreme discomfort, and I felt uncomfortable saying anything about it because I wasn't sure what to even ask for. (I'm not overly upset about that, just a suggestion to have a better pillow on the table or something) Anyways towards the end of the appointment I really had to pee and I told the technician this, and asked to use the washroom she replied saying she was almost done and asked me to wait. It wasn't until at least twenty minutes later that she finished and by that time I almost peed on the table I had to go so badly, wish I could have just gone quickly and come back. Overall I was just really uncomfortable the whole time and couldn't wait to be out of there. I didn't check the prices online before hand, which I should have but when I was charged something like $240 for the eyelashes I thought that was a bit much as I've had them done several other places with better quality for significantly less. On top of that my biggest complaint was that I was given zero aftercare instructions, thankfully I've had them before and know the low down on making them last but It didn't seem to make any difference!! I got them less than five days ago and when I left there must have been three fake eyelashes per one of mine and now over 20% of my lashes have no extensions and almost all of them have single lashes attached. They are not at all the eyelashes that I walked out with and I was quite careful with them, I didn't shower for two days after and kept the sweat out of my eyes for the rest of the day. Overall EXTREMELY disappointed with the entirety of my experience here, I will not be back under any circumstances. It's just way too overpriced for the customer service and the final result. I felt like I wasn't good enough to be in there to be honest, nothing verbal was said it was just the vibe I got, like everyone thought they were better then the clients. Once again, it sucks to have to write this kind of review, wish things had gone better.

I have purchased a number of services in one appointment. The receptionist didn't give me an invoice with the breakdown of costs for each service until I specifically asked her for it. It turns out they charged me additional fees for each service (above the prices in their price list). I emailed with the question, they said those "charges are built into the cost of your service". When I responded to their email saying that they are not built into the cost of the service, but in fact are extra money charged without the client knowing it, they didn't get back to me Very disappointing!

Just had a pedicure at the salon in Victoria and to say it was disappointing is an understatement. I booked the spa pedicure for me and my friend. The massage was literally 2 minutes per legs, my toenails look like chicklets and the gel polish has alteady bubbled. I asked the technician why we weren't getting the paraffin wax and was told this was not part of the service we booked. When we went to pay we were told it would be $91 per pedicure (which includes the paraffin). I said we didn't receive the paraffin and this pedicure was not even a basic pedicure it was so bad. We were charged $66 each in the end. We will have to go and have our toes redone somewhere else. Will not be back and would recommend staying clear.

I first walked into Deco De Mode eight years ago on a whim and have been a loyal customer ever since. My first appointment was with Kat and that was that. I instantly felt comfortable with her and have grown to truly love and respect her over the past 8 years. She is a true professional and knows what's she is doing. She is constantly striving to offer the best services by staying on top of the trends and constantly seeking and upgrading her knowledge through education. I can not say enough about Kat and the wonderful staff at Deco De Mode.

Booked a manicure online and had to call following not being able to book a follow-up brow wax online. Very helpful reception. Brow wax wasn't anything special, the girl only did a light clean-up instead of any effort to shape. Manicure was the same, no massage or extra effort put in, but the end result was decent. Probably wouldn't go back unless desperate and willing to settle for an "okay" experience.

My experience here is always met by kind and accomadating staff. They ALWAYS go out of their way to fit me in last minute or at best find me an appointment ASAP. It is without question the large staff is well trained and knowledgeable as I have seen a variety of people for several different services and not once have I left unhappy. That being said Deco De Mode is a HUGE place! It seems they offer every beauty service you might need! I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone wanting a excellent experience.
