I went in with very hideious ombre/highlights. Spent over $500 getting the color i wanted before. As I met Amanda, she transformed my hair and made me feel soo confident. Love it! Love the honesty and effort! Definately reccomend it!

I just had the best haircut I've had in years with Keshia! She was patient, listened to me and we worked together to get my cut just right. She has a great attitude and I get the impression she really likes what she does. If you are a woman who likes a pixie cut, go see her! She's awesome!
The salon is clean. large, but comfortable and the wash stations are more comfortable than the usual salons. I've already pre-booked my next appointment.response / report this review -

I received hair colouring from Amanda the day before she started at Michauds recently. I asked for ashy hair but received a full head of brassy warm colour at the top and pieces that weren't toned at the bottom.Ive had multiple people point it out so I really want to get it fixed. The only way I could get ahold of her was through Instagram were she has now blocked me and stopped replying but will respond to my friends. I spent 200 on my hair including tip and am now getting ignored she even told me to go home and feel it out and reach out if I was still feeling iffy, would not recommend at all and feel very disrespected at the moment that I am purposely being ignored. very unprofessional

I had a very bad experience. My appointment was two weeks back at this salon, I met this hairstylist 3, after consultation with her and not sure of whether I should get my front few streaked blond hair little less dark to what the condition was of my hair, she did a good job with my gray hair touch up but unfortunately after giving my decision of not getting my streaked hair changed, she insisted and suggested that my hair is going to look different but it was as same as my henna hair when she toud she's gonna make a difference by highlighting my hair.
when she completed the highlighting , i walked out and realized my hair is back to square one and i called the salon and they asked me to come back again and will fix my hair free of cost but when I reached the salon i was not expecting i would have the same hair stylist from whom I was unhappy and she looked so negative that her appearance and the options she had put emphasis on getting my money back as it looked, she wasn't interested in fixing my hair back again. I felt as if she was so biased so i got my money back and decided to not to trust any of these hairstylist here who are not well trained and not sure to what they are doing and doesn't keep in mind he customers choice especially when they're not sure of.
So here I am with my henna hair which every morning gives me such a pathetic feeling when i see myself in the mirror. It always reminds me of When I asked the hairstylist that I wasn't happy with what she's done and she disagreed and said that according to her my hair looked better to what it was earlier.
Now, can the owner ever explain this to me, does this industry works according to customers choice or the employee or if the employee is always correct and the hair stylist are always right?response / report this review -

Michaud's and Keshia saved the day! After a horrible butchering job done by another "salon", I came to Michaud's for help fixing it. I was so happy that Keshia was able to salvage my hair, while keeping some length, and giving me the hairstyle I wanted to begin with. I've found my new favourite stylist! Thank you!

Let me start with, I was extremely nervous trying a new hair dresser. Michaud's had great ratings and reviews so I gave them a try.The girls at the front desk were very welcoming and knowledgeable and friendly! I was able to get an appointment same day with a level 5 person. Michelle was my stylist and she was amazing! She listened and was able to execute a phenomenal hair cut with just a description no pictures needed. She was fun and engaging and I had an overall wonderful experience here! I would highly recommend Michelle, for your hair services and I am certainly going back for my next "Do"!

I've never left a salon looking like the photo I took in. I was originally coming in for a consultation to meet a stylist to see if the cut I wanted would work and how long she might need because I had very long hair. But Keshia was fantastic, we were on the same page right away, she loved the picture I took in, and said, "Sure, we can do that," and then said, "Do you want to do it now? I have time for that," so I said yes. It's fantastic, I'm so happy with the cut and I'm so happy to have short hair again. I'm a local Cloverdale girl and feel great to support a longtime local business.

Caitlin did an amazing job with my balayage!
She did an awesome job blending my hair and was able to lighten it with no orange or brassiness showing.

I have been going to Michaud's for the past several years and they are amazing. I have always been very happy with the styling and hi-lighting that they have done. I thoroughly recommend them. Keshia is amazing.

Not only are they amazing with my hair, the level of excellence and overall customer experience is like none other. Experienced stylists who know what they are doing and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel like one of the fam. I'm a practical gal but you get the quality you pay for here!

I've been going to see Cherie for hair cuts on a recommendation from a mommy friend 2 years ago. I used to have a short-med hairstyle that I would have to get cut every 4-6 wks. After seeing Cherie, I didn't have to get my hair cut for 8-10 weeks, it grew out so nicely! Cherie really knows hair and always does a GREAT job on mine. There are a lot of hairstylists, but when you find someone who really gets yours, you feel safe.
