I have been to this salon twice now and I couldn't be happier with their service.
I had my hair coloured by Hannah today and I don't think anyone could have done a better job. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for a professional, friendly atmosphere.

Amazing place to go to school. Real life practical experience from educators who know the industry! Also saved a fortune by not commuting to a school downtown, saved hours and hours of time over my year here! Downtown education without the downtown headache! Can we all say free parking?

This is one of the most unprofessional salons I have ever been too. The 2 teachers there were talking to the student so disrespectfully and did it right infront of me as if I was not a paying customer. I was so disgusted how they treated the student. Very innapropriate and unethical teaching style One of the teachers there even touched my hair and literally said "ugh, her hair is so dry" picking at my hair in disgust. I left this place feeling more horrible about myself then when I came in From what I've learned from the two Professional salons I've worked at is you are supposed to make the customer feel more confident in their own skin, not run away and hide forever Needless to say I will never be going back here again!

I attended Mark Anthony Academy in 2014. Prior to that I had attended a school in Vancouver. Although I had some good training from the previous school I found Mark Anthony Academy to be extremely informative, professional and positive with their learning and teaching environment. I have been in the in the hair dressing industry since 2009 and when I had decided to upgrade my skills I chose Mark Anthony Academy specifically for all the training put forth by the instructors as well as the extra classes provided for added learning. By this accomplishment I was confident enough to write my Beauty Council Exam which was an achievement very important to me. I am grateful for all my education and training, it has brought me amazing rewards over these years and many more to come.

i have been going to this establishment since it started , using a multitude of there services , BUT never have I had to sit in a chair for 5 hours to get my hair done ! I asked the teacher at the 3d hour to help speed things up as my son was waiting on me , she replied , no the student needs to learn while she helped other students , i reply d i am feeling fatigued and getting frustrated, My back was killing me, the teacher suggested i get different sized streaks on top , compared to the rest ,i assumed she new what she was talking about, apparently not , i was not happy with end result , i was hungry and tiered at the end of the 5 hour ordeal , and complained a few times through out,,What did i get , I receive NOTHING , No apology , No discount , just a smart ass remark from the teacher , I am the one that should have gottin paid to sit in that chair for 5 hours to be treated like a ginne pig , I will no longer buy hundreds of $$ a year for services there for me or my family

I have attended Mark Anthony Academy more times than i can count for multiple different services! I have always left happy with the work the students have done. They are always working together to make sure the customers have the best experience possible, all the girls always have smiles on their faces and know how to spark a great conversation with you to make sure you are comfortable. I would highly recommend the school for any salon service Nails/ Esthetics / Waxing / and Hair! The added bonus is the great prices they have as yes they are students, but always have there educators right along side of them making sure everything is done properly! Great job!

I had an occasion to go to Mark Anthony School to get a manicure and pedicure, something I have never had before. I had two students working on me, one on the left and one on the right. I came away completely satisfied and felt that they had treated me very special. I would not hesitate to recommend this facility to anyone, keep up the good work.

I am a graduate from Mark Anthony Esthetics Program. I absolutely loved my time there and would recommend it to anyone! Love the teachers and the environment. the teachers Shelley, Kellsie , Judie had such enthusiasm for what they were teaching and made learning fun , the class sizes are small so you get lots of one on one time. As a student you will get to learn all there is to know in all areas of the programs and by the end of the course you will have learnt how to go about getting a job. All the staff are knowledgeable and helpful and eager to answer questions even after you graduate I highly recommend this school
