A lovely well kept theater but they allow late comers in after the doors close. A lot of them.

What a grand old theatre. Watched a performance from the stage-side private box about 25feet above the stage. Fantastic seats. Highly recommend!

Great theatre, small and intimate. Seats are comfy and the view from the upper balcony was perfect!

What can I say, a lifetime of shows at the McPherson Playhouse. From Timmy's Telethon to Henry Rollins! I love the central location ☺

Easy access. Good selection of shows presented at this venue. Good staff. Big line ups for the bar so pre-order your drinks before the show.

I found the person I spoke to at the box office to be very 'offhand' and not one bit helpful. In fact I thought I had just woken her up. I asked what time the box office closed as I wanted to pick up some tickets. She did reply 5 o'clock. I travelled some distance indeed (I normally pick up on the night of the show but I had upgraded so wanted to pick up the other tickets that someone else was taking)and went to the Royal Theatre where I had picked up tickets previously. It was closed. Unbeknownst to me it was closed all summer for pick up. I stood outside and rang the box office explained the situation to which she replied. Oh yeah the Theatre is closed all summer for pickup. I told her I travelled some distance and would not make it over to the Playhouse before it closed. I mentioned that it should be made clear where the tickets are available for pick up. She never replied to my suggestion in fact she was void of empathy and and did not so much as utter even an insincere 'sorry'. I thought perhaps she might have stayed an extra 10 minutes so I could get over there and pick up my tickets in light of the distance I had travelled and having not (in earlier conversation) been informed where to pick up my tickets. I am not a mind reader. Very disappointed in the service. Unbelievable really.
