House keeping let my dog out while I was at work knowing there was a dog in there. Told me know one would go in this room caus3 my dog is in there cool if that where true the manager is total scum calling my place of work when my room had nothing to do with them. Shed kick me out every night for no reason at all other than my dog who didn't brake who didn't make a mess ect all because she and her 3 world country staff where scared of a bull dog this place can burn and there s bed bugs

The price is good for the area. The room was fine, the wifi reliable. Free breakfast. Restaurants for supper (serving wine) not too close, about 1km. Must take vehicle to go downtown. Don't know if city bus is available. I would stay again.

Good location, rooms were adequate. The staff were wonderful and friendly. The room had a slight smell and a small stain of the carpet. Overall I was very satisfied with my stay.

I would never stay here again. The room was gross, stains everywhere, A/C was likely the first air conditioner ever made, bathroom was not well lit and also looked gross, they still have tube TVs and on top of all of this: they charge a $200 deposit WHEN NOTHING IN THE ROOM IS WORTH THAT! The explanation given was that they have increased prices and the deposit to attract better customers (came from a $300 hotel the night before, with everything possible in the room, and the deposit was $30..) but this place isn't worth it. I've stayed in some lower budget hotels before and this is by far the worst. They also watch how much ice you take from the ice machine. It's a machine, it's going to make more, relax.
I felt dirtier leaving this place than I had throughout my entire 2 weeks of camping. Save yourself the heartache and don't stay here.response / report this review -

Booked a room for 2 nights for a spontaneous island get away with the family. I was lucky finding a room for a great rate that would fit our needs during the busy season and on such short notice.
Expectations were low driving up, as it appeared very dated and the lobby smelt mildly of times when smoking was allowed inside. (Now a no-smoking policy for all rooms)
BUT
I found myself pleasantly surprised that our room smelt fresh and clean. The linens crisp and fresh, the beds and pillows plush and comfortable, and the AC fairly quiet and efficient. And overall, the area itself also quiet. We had solid sleeps and no interruptions.
Continental breakfast included with a nice breakfast room and patio to sit at and a clean pool that was nearly deserted.
My family very much enjoyed the value of this hotel and our stay was a very pleasant one. Will definitely stay again!

Real bad experiece.. First i was beaten by bed bogs at night but i didn't complain. And one evening that i had to warm a sandwich for 30 sec. In the microwave that's beside the reception the ladi receptionist called the police lying ad teling that i have touched her Wich is totaly not true at all Totaly insane I had to change the hotel the next day cause of her lies. And i've never touched her, neather even insulted her She made a big story with lies from a 30sec use of the disposal microwave in the customers breakfast dining room cause she wanted me to pay an extra 10$ pe day to get one in my room.. So please dont go there and dont touch the microwave cause they will acuse you of murder. Very very incredible but it is that bad and exacly what happened.. I was so surprised when the police came and woked me up 2h after at midnight and told me that i had to leave the room the next day (3rd day of mi staing) even if mi company had rented 3 rooms for 5 nights I am totaly surprised to be falsely acused of touching her only because i've used the mcw and she didn't want me to. Otherwise the rooms are spacious but noisy, old but clean (exept for the bed bugs that are sucking your blood at night and could transmite several dangerous deseas) with a very basic heating system that you have to wake up every 2h to turn it on or off cause not working properly And be aware of that verry white skin lady with in her 30's in 2017 with skin problems that work on the evenings (dont know her name), cause she could turn your life in to a total nightmare by lying and even caling the police if u are not agree with here..

We got the 2 room suite and while it is definitely outdated, it's incredibly clean. We also have a great view of the lake.

It's a good clean place to stay. Not to far from just about anything you'd want to go and see. If you don't have a rental car transit is available right across the street and there is a couple of stores within walking distance. During the summer it's a nice walk along the river on the bike path.
Anyway staff is normally pretty good, the water is hot without much fuss. Cleaning staff are also friendly and do a pretty good job.response / report this review
