The staff was friendly and efficient. The food was exactly what I was expecting. Generally speaking, its like truck stop food. No offense to truckers at all! I come from a large family of truckers!

Man.. it's a sad day when I can honestly say I don't think I'll be going back to my regular breakfast place. Since they changed owners, this place has really crumbled. They are super nice people but they are no Doug and Helen, that's for sure. I took my friend here for her first time, we waited almost an hour for 3 breakfasts and they came way over done. I could excuse if it was slamming busy and they were brand new but neither were the case. Come on guys please don't let this little gem die. Maybe in another year I'll try again but I'll have to find a new spot. Sucks cuz the waitresses are fantastic at what they do.

Breakfast was fast and hot and very good. Real home fries! The coffee is good which is very important. My husband had the Reuben which came with fresh cut fries. The sandwich was excellent.
Overall a very good experience.

Matsqui was an absolute favourite of mine but the ownership has changed with the new owners struggling a bit too get a hang of how things work. I still hope it comes back to its former glory

Not really sure what all the fuss is about. Waited 45 minutes for 2 burgers that arrived overcooked. Asked for a chocolate milkshake and never received that. We tried to go early so that our toddler would have patience to actually eat something. Definitely won't be a place that my family will be back to.
