We hosted an afternoon cruise for 150 people (corporate event), and the whole team at Mariposa Cruises was excellent! From getting a quote, to planning the menu, and the actual day of the event - the whole experience went very smoothly. Our guests had a great time and are looking forward to having the same event next year! Kudos to Lauren, Larissa, Aaron, and the whole team at Mariposa!

Nice experience ,food is good and plenty, I believe the DJ was "selective" with the genres, too much Prince, M.Jackson and nothing else.

I arrived to board my cruise when I wasn't on the list. I had my receipt handy and it turns out I booked the wrong day. I was very upset but the Mariposa Cruise staff was absolutely amazing. They let us on anyway even though they were fully booked and they let us sit at the top of the boat beside the bar and the d.j. The waiters on the boat were very friendly and courteous and I'm absolutely impressed. Such a great experience. I highly recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy a relaxing cruise with stunning views of the Toronto skyline.

Took my father on a lunch cruise with Mariposa Cruises for Father's Day.
$150 for the pair of us.
Buffet was definitely extremely underwhelming, pasta was bland, frozen and reheated type bagel bites, chicken, a couscous salad which was somewhat alright, and ribs (the meat was not cooked well and did not taste fresh at all).
Our waitress told us to go down to the lower level to get dessert and mentioned they forgot to announce it. I waited in a long line up only to be standing in front of empty platters with many other guests. When I and other guests asked for desserts to be restocked (costco brownies etc cut up into small pieces), and fruits, I was told there was no more coming out?!
My waitress also forgot to bring us our drinks both times and I had to go to the bar and request for them myself.
The boat was not completely booked and yet they ran out of food?
I did however get some nice pictures of the skyline and waterfront but I could have easily taken those from the Ferry.
I would suggest putting together a picnic from home, or picking up take-out and taking the ferry to the island over spending money on a cruise which has no intentions of offering their guests a quality meal and experience.

Horrible experience, but my father appreciated the thought and intention of wanting to take him out on the lake for a nice father's day afternoon.

Don't waste your money with Mariposa Cruises!

Great time aboard the Norther Spirit for a corporate event! We had the Captain's Choice menu and hired Stag King for a raffle-ticket style Casino. The Mariposa staff helped us put together a top notch event, within budget, in a very short time. We had so many compliments from our guests on the food and overall experience. The cost is very comparable to a banquet hall event so if you are looking to do something special for your customers this is a great option.

Larissa and Stephanie were both very friendly and prompt. They made the whole booking experience seamless and the boats and packages were offered at very competitive prices!

The boat crew and and staff were also very pleasant and professional. They knew when to bust out the fun and when they needed to be serious. Thanks for the amazing time!

We rented the "Rosemary" boat for a "girls night out" a couple nights before my sister's wedding. We were a group of 18, ages 25-65, and the boat size (seating, room, etc.) was perfect. We had some appetizers and the vegetarian buffet and the food was great! More than enough for everyone. The staff was very accommodating when organizing the event and on the day of. The crew was friendly to all our guests and overall we had a fantastic night!

We booked a private boat cruise through work. We booked the Klancy II and I can't say anything but nice things about the staff and tour. I was speaking with Larissa to book the cruise and she was VERY helpful. The captains were very welcoming when we boarded the ship and the manager on board was Tania. I can't say one negative thing about her - she was amazing!! Everyone had a great time (the average age was 23 years old) and the food was very good. We spent approx. 4hrs on board and it was an excellent amount of time. The Toronto skyline is gorgeous. The DJ rocked and took any requests we have. If you're thinking about going, do it! You won't regret it!
