    Fantastic store and staff!

I wandered in the other day and noticed that the full kit of Castelli road cycling gear I bought about a month back had gone clearance, Tony looked up my receipt and it was 31 days ago that I had bought the gear but the price protection policy is 30 days. After speaking with management they approved it anyway and gave me about $80 back which totally made my day!

Great service here and love supporting local businesses. Check them out before you buy anywhere else.

    Jeff

Enjoyed my shopping experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the store was very well lit, clean and organized. The lifetime membership for only $5 seems well worth it.

It was good until you get to the checkout and they tell you that you have to pay to join some club and give them all your private info. I think it's a scam they should have a sign on the door members only can purchase items there. Went to Canadian Tire and got the same items about 30% cheaper and didn't have to join any club So I recommend just stick with CT you will better of and no scams

This location is a lot more quiet, bare, and understaffed compared to the MEC in broadway. I only came here because the one in Vancouver was closed early and I needed time to try on several different trail running shoes. The staff whom greeted me and another who cashed me out was not the friendliest of the bunch, the kind of people who'd ask you how you're doing, but walk away before you could reply. However, I am giving this review a 4 stars because of one lady, Monica. She was especially friendly, knowledgeable with shoes, and took the time to brought out around 10 different trailing shoes for me to try, and suggested I keep trying them and find the right one for my foot. I did not end up finding the perfect pair of shoes, but was quite pleased with one, and will likely run in them for my future trail runs.

Ok- so one of my favorite shops in the world. Even if you are not a hiker or camper, you can find super cool things there for everyone. You literally could shop for everyone on your list in the one store. I really wish that they had a better discount section and local coupons for Langleyites.

I have been in to buy hiking boots twice. The first time was for my wife a couple of years ago, and a young woman who appeared to be very stoned "helped" us with out purchase. The boots were fine, but the shopping experience was very frustrating. The second time I wanted to buy boots for my wife and for myself. The staff were very professional and helpful, but many of the boots we wanted to try were out of stock in our sizes - 10.5 or 11 men's and 9 women's. These are very common sizes and it was frustrating to have to pick from the few available sizes rather than from the full selection of boots. My wife bought boots, and they are good, but I ended up not buying anything. I will wait until I can get to the Vancouver store and hope that they have more of a selection of boots in my size.

Allways great service and prices are decent . just cant figure out why people complain about 5.00 membership its five dollars for life time membership . And you can browse all you want with out paying. Try that at Costco 60 dollars a year just to walk through the doors .
