Your go-to spot if you're an avid Arsenal fan looking for a pub atmosphere during early morning matches. The setup allows comfortable viewing of matches.
Attended corporate event. Food and drinks are standard for a pub in downtown area. Service is also similar to other establishments near by. Convenient location.
Decent place to cut a rug. The place has two bars and some arcade games as well. Drinks are reasonably priced and the music is usually pretty good.
Library square is pretty beat now.
The decline in service and product should have been foreseeable based on the clientelles expectations but here I am showing up again.
Don't make the same mistakes, walk 5 minutes down the road to the Met where the prices reflect quality and you know what you're in for.
Good price on drinks and nice selection of pub food
The sign says welcome to a proper pub, I would have to say otherwise the fish and chips were absolutely terrible the fish being laden with grease from a fryer that needed fresh oil. French fries were served limp cold and undercooked, staff was very prompt and courteous and the beer was fresh at least. I'm not likely to return though I have high expectations of quality considering I had to pay $17 for a greasy piece of fish and a handful of over salted shoestring french fries that I couldn't even finish.
Nothing to write home about. Took 3 different servers coming by our table before someone took our drink order. The server who was going to take our food order spent a good 10+ minutes visiting at another nearby table and never did come back. Ordered the nachos. They were mediocre. I love a lot of toppings but this is overkill. 80% of the chips were soggy and the cheese under everything else was barely melted. I probably wouldn't go back.
Seat yourself and very crowded. Came in by myself for a drink and wings before a concert, found a spot but it was 10-15 minutes before someone came up to me. Decent selection of beer, the wings were great.
Enjoyed spending time at the Library Pub each day while attending a conference across the street.
Staff were awesome, food acceptable and a great selection of local beers on tap if you're into that.
Lots of tv screens tuned to sports around the place, big comfy booths and ample outside patio seating as well.
Perfectly acceptable place to grab a beverage and enjoy some conversation or spend time by yourself.
This place is a great for after work/pre Canucks game food. The happy hour selection is great. Beers are a really good price!
Good atmosphere, good screens for the NCAA basketball. Very friendly servers. Would appreciate more vegetarian/ vegan options although I understand this place isn't food primary.
Good place for hanging out with friends. Chill and cool atmosphere, good quality drinks. Patio seats in summer are really cool (still need a cardigan tho)
Really liked the place. Conveniently located with lots of room inside, big screens if you plan to watch a game, really good food and decent drinks. What else can you ask for? There are options for hosting private events too.
Great pre-game spot for before a Lions, Canucks or Whitecaps game. Awesome environment. They have great happy Hour specials as well. Service is a little slow though
