  Ever since the first time we took our new rescue to DR.Sarah she has been AWESOME! Our puppy is family and Dr. Sarah takes care of her with loving care. The girls at reception are wonderful as well. I highly recommend this Vet to all people i know. Thank you DR. Sarah and Kerrisdale Veterinary Hospital.

  Same shock as another user posted on the same review.
  Expect 30 seconds of seeing doc and be charged with $65.
  First time was charged with $400+ as well. Scam.

  Until now my experience with vets consisted of seeing them only for routine procedures such as annual shots. Recently I learned a very expensive lesson at Kerrisdale Animal Hospital.. Dr. Michael Dodd was less than ethical when treating my dog. The dog was there for a gastro-intestinal problem. Dr. Dodd proposed lab tests WITHOUT DISCUSSING THEIR EXORBITANT COST. When I was faced with a bill for over $400, I was shocked. My lesson: always ask about the cost of blood work. My naive mistake does not excuse the vet. It's incumbent on him to talk about the cost before whisking off the dog to take blood. MM
