  Changed my mind and went back less than 24 hours later to buy back one chain. They paid me $19.22 for it but now wanted to charge me $44.57 for it. When I asked why, they said it was s service fee. 👎🏻

  They were nice but they paid me in a check. Winnipeg gold buyers always paid me in cash which not only saves me a trip to the bank but also eliminates problems gaining access to my money if I'm selling gold to overcome a financial issue if my account were in the negative, etc. Their checks draw from Steinbeck Credit Union which isn't a huge institution so chances are you may not bank there and if that's the case and there are any issues with your account, then the check must go towards putting your account back in good standing. Other banks won't cash your check if your account is overdrawn.
  
  I know this makes me sound irresponsible but I'm really not. I also know keeping lots of cash on site can be dangerous, WGB and KMG are just different that way but I wish I'd known they'd issued checks not cash for sales over $50 before I sold to them!

  I took in a pile of old jewellery, much of it costume but some of it real gold and silver. I felt a little nervous because I had never done anything like this before. I was greeted with a friendly hello by Kristyna and she immediately put me at ease. I apologized for my mess of stuff and she laughed and said it was very normal. She carefully sorted through every piece and explained the tests she used to determine values. I left with a nice cheque and a feeling of satisfaction. I had cleared out some unused items from my drawers, earned some money on the more valuable pieces, then happily donated the rest to a thrift store for someone else to wear. A good way to start the new year!

  I was extremely happy with the time the ladies took to assess the value of all my items. Not only were they very professional and friendly with me, but with every single customer that entered the store during the time I was there.
  
  Some other customers had mentioned how pleasantly surprised they were about the great service. They'd been elsewhere and were not only treated rudely, but were offered much less for their item than KMG said it worth. (That made me feel even MORE confident I'd made the right decision)
  
  I would HIGHLY recommend KMG's services, and if ever have the need, would not hesitate to trust them again! AAA+++

  I have gone to KMG Gold Recycling several times to sell scrap gold, coins and militaria. As a gold buyer, I also use their Melt & Assay service. The pay out rates are the highest I have found, and I got my money on the spot.
  Their customer service and attention to detail is by far the best I have ever had. I recommend KMG Gold to anyone wanting to sell gold. They are the best and most honest gold buyer I've ever found. JB
