I had so much fun with Jeff Rey - and so appreciated his help in keeping me safe from allergens! I got a very different style than I usually wear, and everyone says how great I look. . . the TRUE test of a hairstyle is can I make it look good myself at home - this cut passed the test. Great experience!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I am extremely picky with my hair, and my stylist Allie G did an incredible job. I have very long, thick hair that is difficult to work with, but she took extra care and did a perfect job! I left very happy and will definitely be going back to her

I'm in love with my new hair cut. It's freaking outstanding and the way he did it was incredibly calming and relaxing. He is definitely my new barber I'm going to see and recommend. Jordan Dyck you put the barb in barber cause you so sharp. (Ouch!) Can't wait till next month to get it cut again. Love u man

I had my first appointment for a cut at Aveda on Fri. I saw Allie G and had a wonderful experience. She was very courteous and took the time to listen to what I wanted. The instructor as well. The cut is greatas well as the relaxing scalp massage. I would definitely recommend seeing Allie. I'll be back. Thanks again!!

I got a botanical hair and scalp treatment by Danielle and it was amazing. It was very relaxing and she took her time throughout the whole process. I have a lot of hair so I appreciated her patience and willingness to do the best job she could. My hair looked so much healthier after the treatment and the texture was so soft and smooth. It was my first time there, a student did my hair, the student, I think her name was Mindy(spelling might be wrong) was very patient with me, my hair was pretty difficult to work with and I made a billion requests. Pretty good experience .

Haircut by a student starts from a certain rate and goes up depending on how long the student has been studying. Check out their websites if there are promos available, they're often generous with it.

5/5 would grow my hair and get it done by students to support them again.

My first time at Aveda was this past Saturday. I went in to be a model for a one length haircut, and I had an absolutely amazing experience! As soon as I walked in I was greeted and offered a water or tea, & I didn't have to wait long either. Kaity did my haircut and she did an amazing job, she took her time doing it and overall I was very happy with the outcome. Her teacher would check in and made sure she was doing a good job, which made me feel very comfortable. I was offered a scalp massage & a makeup touch up at the end of the service which is something I had never had before at any other salon, but very much appreciated and will be reasons for me to go back!

I got my hair cut here for the first time today and I definitely recommend it. Carpio did a great job, she was very focused and detail-oriented. She did a really good job explaining to me all the products she was using, why she was using them, and what they did. An instructor would come over periodically to check her work but I was very happy. The head massage was awesome and if I had to grade her on her performance it would be an A for sure. Plus, there's no beating the price. I'll definitely be back! Definitely plan extra time though, they're learning so it takes a little longer.

I had a cut April 25, 2017, it was an inverted bob which takes precision cutting. Jennie did exactly what I wanted. I couldn't be more pleased. So easy to keep! Going back for highlights. More people need to visit this school as these students are truly amazing. Thank you Jennie for the awesome cut! Not too mention $15.00 off the cut didn't hurt either 😊

Great place to go to school as a student, when I left school I felt more prepared than some of my other coworkers at the salon. It starts off slow, but as you progress further into the program I had a lot of clients, the educators are very helpful and they help you every step of the way. So you never have to freak out about about a haircut you've never done before because they'll be there to guide you. Only problem is that they have a high turnover rate with the educators, so it's sad when you form a connection with an educator then they leave and you have to start all over with someone new. They are also very strict about the dress code and anything non Aveda so it's a little hard to get used to. It was pricey, but overall it was totally worth it because I felt like it gave me a better education then someone who didn't go to this school. I also didn't have a problem finding a job after, i got hired right off the cuff.

I had always had a good time when they did a good job. I had a horrible experience where a girl messed up incredibly badly but I wear glasses and was in a rush so I left with wet hair and couldn't see well until I got home and dealing with the upper staff was a complete nightmare. The girl was very nice and she was learning so I understood but the upper management was the worst I had ever dealt with. After this experience there's no way I'd give my support to a teacher like that.

This was my first time visiting the Aveda Institute and I was pleasantly impressed!! I had a great time. Everyone made me feel very welcome right when I walked in the door. I left feeling really great about my haircut and I will be back to pick up some hair products when I run out of the ones I am currently using. Thank you all for this wonderful first time experience!
