Journey through Australia’s cultural heartland in a theatrical, visually sumptuous, multimedia performance. This collective of musicians, composers, dancers, and filmmakers tell deeply felt stories with stunning imagery, traditional and contemporary song, and performed in 11 Indigenous languages with traditional instruments, including the didgeridoo.
Entertaining as it educates, their performance dirtsong raises awareness of the importance, resonance, and contribution that Aboriginal traditions have on global culture, as well as the issues that Indigenous people face worldwide. A one-of-a-kind performance that speaks of endurance, challenge, unity, and the triumph of the spirit.

I attended the Jack Singer Broadway Nights evening on Saturday, 29 April and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. All four vocalists were amazing and did a great service to Sir Andrew, Elton and Paul. Scott Coulter was quick and entertaining not to mention the great pianist/vocalist, John Boswell. The evening would not have been such a success without the performance of the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra. My only comment is that the audience should have been encouraged more to participate more as I wanted to clap along but was held back by the stiff audience throughout who did not want to express their passion. All in all, this was truly an amazing evening. ���

Was there for daughters dance recital with DSI so of course was the best event I've ever been too, wanted to give Kudos to ushers/staff that without anyone asking or hesitation offered better and more accessible seats for my mother and I when we realized orchestra tickets I bought were against wall and 10 seats in. Almost impossible for my mother to get into with cane Thank you.

It was my first time going to see the Calgary Philaharmonic Orchestra and it was definitely a fantastic experience. I went with my friend to Disney in Concert Tale as Old as Time and both the orchestra and the vocalists were phenomenal. The conductor Karl was passionate and there were times where I thought I saw him singing along. The vocalists all had great chemistry and interacted with the audience. The concert hall itself was neat and beautiful. As a huge Disney fan, I was overwhelmed with emotions and I will admit that I cried at the end. Overall experience left me with a great memory! Thank you!!

Waited in line for merchandise for 20 minutes only 1 person serving and there didn't take debit or credit. No signs to tell people it was cash only!! A lot of people got to the front only to be told it was cash only then had to go to the cash point then rejoin the line

Great theatre - great show by Mavis Staples! We found the sound a bit hard to understand where we were in the upper left dress circle and the view a bit impeded by the rail - but overall it really is a nice theatre and a great experience.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our evening of the DreamWorks concert. There were moments we forgot the music was live, it sounded like the studio soundtrack. Other times we were looking at the orchestra trying to locate the instruments and just how they were making the music. A most enjoyable evening. �

Great show by Joe Jackson and his band. So great to finally hear and see him live - especially in a cycle where he has a strong, accessible album.
Calgary crowd was into it. Jack Singer is such a great venue. I only had a couple of quibbles with the sound tonight. Thought the mix was off in a couple of songs, but that hall still sounds great.response / report this review -

Usually I would give a rating of 5, but during the Nutcracker on November 16th, 2016 the sound system was NOT working properly. A very loud disruption of the treble or some component of the sound emerged quickly and came on and off through most of the 45 minute second act. Loved the experience nonetheless, but I wish the sound was working.

A great concert hall. Sir James Galway made beautiful music and each note was as clear as a bell, particularly when playing on his own (as opposed to playing with his wife). The concert hall is not too large, so it has a "comfortable" feel about it without sacrificing acoustic quality. A really nice venue. I look forward to visiting again. Finding my way around downtown Calgary is another story! (Obviously, I'm a new-comer to this neck-of-the-woods.)

Beautiful venue, great acoustics, friendly staffbut unbearably cold. There was actually COLD air blowing on us the whole time. We had to move from our original seats and seek shelter. There is NO need to blow cold air on patrons. Hopefully someone of the HVAC department can fix their issues.

What a beautiful concert hall. We went to the children's Bubble Guppies Live Show. Great afternoon for kids. The downside of this.

We saw Bubble Guppies Live. My one year old absolutely loved every second of it and so did we. Parking was a bit of an issue but other than that we had a wonderful experience

Went to see Danny Boy w/ Ivan Decker, what an amazing show, laughed the entire time both were on stage and glad I went and most certainly will go again to see either of them again.

Every time I go to the Jack Singer concert Hall I love and enjoy the music. Saturday night my daughter and I went to the Broadway knight show. It was awesome and we loved it.
