School may be out for the summer but we want to send a huge "SHOUT OUT" to the many schools that support our work throughout the school year. Here's a few Highlands School who worked very hard in a variety of ways to raise funds and donate $ raised to our Layette Program, Ecole Ste Jeanne d'Arc who also raised funds and supported our work with a generous cash donation, Jasper Place High School, who organized a huge donation drive, Strathcona Christian Academy Elementary School who faithfully organize large donation drives every single year and to Forest Heights Elementary for their fund-raising project! We love working with studentsall agesall schools!!! Enjoy your summer! THANK-YOU!!

Did you know that last year we included 13,300 sleepers in our layettes? Wow! This year we will need even more! We would love it if you'd drop some off at the warehouse! (Sizes 6-24 months needed most!)

It's not every day that TELUS Community Board members arrive at the Basically Babies warehouse to personally deliver an enormous and most generous cheque for $10,000!!! But when they do we are ever so grateful!!! Huge thanks to Telus Community Board members: the Honourable Anne McLellan, Mr. Dan Campbell and Dr. Ruth Colllins-Nakai for taking the time visit, discuss and take a warehouse tour! So appreciated!

Sothis happened! We transported 260 baskets of clothing offsite and created close to 6,000 perfectly matched outfits for our layettes! We really do have the best volunteers !!

We’ve added up the fundraising results from this year’s #picnicsandpatios Mother’s Day Brunch & Silent Auction and are thrilled to announce that the event raised $120,000 in support of Basically Babies – making it our most successful fundraiser to date!
We are beyond grateful to all who contributed to making #picnicsandpatios such a huge success! This event would not have been possible without the support of all of our Mother’s Day Brunch guests, supporters and silent auction donors, and of course, our many volunteers. Each of you have played an integral role in making #picnicsandpatios our most successful fundraiser yet. Your support continues to make a significant impact in the lives of newborns in need.

That's a wrap! Thank you, thank you, thank you - to our 450+ guests, our 400+ silent auction donors, our many special donors and supporters, and all our volunteers! A special thank you to Paul and the entire team from Sawmill Banquet & Catering Centre who go above and beyond to deliver an exceptional brunch and who donated all the food and beverage that our #picnicandpatios guests enjoyed this morning at our Mother's Day Brunch!
We are so grateful to have so many Basically Babies supporters in the community! Sharing our sincere thanks to each and every one of you for helping to make this year's fundraiser another huge success!
