Chose this place as we LOVED the food (pan roasted mushroom pasta) at the Joey’s in Vancouver. Sadly the most delicious menu item ever was not on the menu any longer. I chose a pasta dish (pasta pomodoro) that the waitress said was not too spicy at all. Turns out it was pretty spicy, which was slightly calmed by the second helping of ricotta cheese I needed to be able to eat it. Not too many options if you don’t care for steak or seafood. Other than that, the atmosphere was great, the staff was very pleasant and helpful. It was a Friday night and we didn’t have to wait one minute for a table for 6.

This was a very good meal for me and the kids. The French dip was wonderful and my kids LOVED the sliders! The only reason for the 4 star is the menu was a bit limited and my wife had a hard time finding something of substance which she liked. The wait staff was excellent, as was the kind hostess, who visited with my daughter during the short wait.

The night started a little shaky with our server Jamie informing me that my normal dish was no longer on the menu. After that, my night was like any normal night. My wife and mother-in-law, on the other hand, their night took quite the detour. They ordered the rotisserie chicken with seasonal vegetables and gravy on the side, but substituted the crispy mashed potatoes instead of the normal mashed potatoes. When their order arrived, however, they got regular mashed potatoes and the gravy poured over the meal. The manager, Shannon, took those meals away and had them remade. When those meals arrived, the gravy was on the side and came with cauliflower (which tasted like vinegar was poured over them) instead of the seasonal vegetables that me and my father-in-law received. The meals were left, but sides of crispy mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables arrived separately. At the end of the meal, both Jamie and Shannon apologized for the mix up. Shannon then informed us that she removed the rotisserie chicken meals from our bill and offered my wife and mother-in-law $20 gift cards. That more than made up for the mix up and made my wife and mother-in-law very happy. We look forward to our next meal there and hopefully we'll get our meal correctly on the first delivery.

I've been here on several date nights over the past two years. The servers are always super friendly and punctual with requests. The food is always the same and delicious. I always order a steak and they do medium rare perfectly. No complaints for this restaurant, you guys always make me feel special on the rare nights I get to go out :) thank you ! Also I was here a month ago and our waitress gave me two suggestions on drinks that I couldn't have agreed more with. She was super friendly and nice and it's nice to go to a restaurant and get this kind of service.

I met with my cousins, 3 of them
We had a wonderful lunch, were able to stay to chat and visit.
McKenzie, our server was delightful and brought us lots of water and coffee after our meals.

I was unimpressed with the services/food..
1. the waiter didn't come to the table. (only to take the order once we waited 15 minutes, check on our food when i didnt have any, to give us a bill) every time I would like a refill I had to get up myself and walk over to the hostess, and speak to them.
2. waiter asked me how my food was, while I had no food in front of me cause I ad to get up again and go to the hostess and tell her how my food wasn't cooked properly.
3. usually waiters tell you about the specials, there was no talk about the specials for the night.
I've came here in the past, and the food was delicious and service was good, but I will NOT be coming back in the future because of this awful customer service experience.
*If I wanted to get up every time I wanted a refill on my cup of water, I should have ordered skip the dishes and ate at home*response / report this review -

I adore this place. We always sit In the bar. Good vibe. The food and drinks and service is bar none. Never been disappointed . In a mall so lots of parking. Went today after a long time. They changed the menu a bit and took away daily drink specials and just have happy hour special now . The chicken club I had was delish.

Heated, enclosed patio was great, food came quickly, lots of free parking. 4.00 beer for happy hour is bonus! Veggie burger was good, I always have the lettuces wraps which are really good! Prices could be better but on par with Earls.

Had the lettuce wraps and chilli chicken. Delicious. That place was PACKED, but we were able to by-pass the estimated 20 minute wait by eating in the bar.

The meal at Joey's is so good, the steak is cooked to a mouth watering flavor that's easy to cut with a knife, almost like a hot knife through butter. The crispy mash potatoes are a really great finish for an altogether great meal. I will definitely be returning 😄

their steak is sooooo good! It goes so well with the crispy mash potato. the staffs there are super friendly and professional. Went there twice already and will always go back. It's always busy there because you know, good food and people will find you doesn't matter if they have to drive across the city.
