The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. Nice selection of coffee, tea, and snacks. Location was central and there was ample parking.

I just love Spencer Hall. I recently got married here and couldn't have been happier. I loved the staff and my coordinators. The grounds are stunning, the rooms are comfortable, and the food is to die for. I know they have great conference facilities as well. I'd stay here simply as a hotel, but it's fantastic for events.

Staying here for about 2 weeks and absolutely loving it! Great rustic feel to it, open access to the gardens, executive lounges/meeting rooms, patios, balconies, and restaurant/bar. Great staff. Also 24/7 gym and free Starbucks coffee are a bonus!

Had my wedding here! It was amazing. Rachel the wedding coordinator is beyond helpful and organized. Didn't need to worry about a thing. Our room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was great. The Cajun tots were awesome. Couldn't have asked for a better wedding weekend :)

Beautiful building and grounds. Interior of hotel needs updating. Rooms(2) were decent, not very clean though. Lots of dust on various surfaces, and the furniture looks quite worn and in need of cleaning or replacing. In my bathroom there were a couple bobby-pins on the floor, and a piece of crumpled up paper behind the waste bin. Not exactly something you want to see in a room that was supposed to have been cleaned by housekeeping.
On a positive note, the breakfast buffet was great and in a lovely setting. Wait staff were very pleasant, as well as the front desk employee who checked us in.
The morning of our stay, the water was turned off for maintenance at 10am. This was a definite inconvenience and I think guests should have been compensated in some way.

I stayed at this hotel recently and had a great experience overall: personnel was attentive and helpful, the facilities were well maintained, the food was really good, and I loved my room - it had everything I needed plus a little more. Will definitely recommend.

Very pleasant place to stay, excellent value for money. Breakfast at the weekend was amazing, just fine during the week, the difference being a chef making omelettes to order.

Nice location. Nice room and people. For those with allergies or vegan the food at the buffet was limited and I didn't have time to ask to see if other food could be provided.

The hotel staff is very friendly, was able to guide me even though I was lost for my conference. The lunch buffet was fantastic, so many choices. The rooms are very clean and spacious, no noise and great wifi. Most of all, the staff of the hotel are there to help you out with every little question :)

Great place for meetings!

Although I can't comment on the hotel rooms, I can say that the meeting facilities are outstanding. The food and the service are excellent, and it is evident that the staff take pride in their work. Danielle at the front desk was happy and very helpful.
