Krzysztof Jablonski is Laureate of the International Frédéric Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw in 1985 as well as numerous top prizes at international piano competitions in Milan, Palm Beach, Monza, Dublin, New York, Calgary as well as Gold Medal at the Arthur Rubinstein Piano Competition in Tel Aviv. For more than 30 years Jablonski is active performing solo, chamber music as well as with orchestras on stages in Europe, Americas, Asia and Israel in prestigious concert halls, including appearances on the Master Concert Series at Berliner Philharmonie. Catch him this Saturday at 3PM at St. Stephen's Anglican Church!

An internationally known cello artist, Johanne Perron presently pursues a career as chamber musician, solo performer and educator. Critics of the Musical America Worldwide magazine have described Madame Perron as “an artist of extraordinary musical dimension, compelling intensity and deep inner serenity.” Gilles Potvin wrote “her sonority is unswervingly beautiful and of great fluidity. What is most striking about her are the musical gifts which enable her to phrase with sensitivity and elegance.” Madame Perron plays a 1705 Giovanni Grancino cello made in Milan, Italy. Isabella Perron, violinist, pianist, and singer, was born in 2000 in Florida into a musical family and began her musical studies at the age of two with her grandmother, Ghislaine Dufour. By the age of three, she was performing in concert with her mother, Johanne Perron, a professional concert cellist and pedagogue. Since then, she has been a prizewinner of many regional, provincial and national competitions and has been awarded first prizewinner with the highest mark multiple times in Canada. Isabella plays a Jean-Batiste Vuillaume 1850 and a bow Nicolas Maline graciously lent by CANNIMEX INC., from Drummondville, Quebec. Catch her on Sunday May 27 at 3PM at St. Stephen's Anglican Church!

Gibson, made famous by stars such as Elvis Presley, BB King, Keith Richards, Pete Townsend and Lenny Kravitz, files for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. The iconic company, who also make Baldwin pianos, will also kill its Innovations unit, which makes Phillips headphones, speakers and other electronic accessories.

David Lakirovich has served as Assistant Concertmaster of the ProMusica Chamber Orchestra in Columbus, Ohio, from 2014 to 2017, and is currently serving a one year position as Assistant Concertmaster of the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra. When I first came to the ISC, I was not sure what to expect but it completely blew mind and at the same time soothed the soul! The talent was top notch, the community welcoming, and my Sunday afternoon was never better! The thing that really makes me happy is that they are a community of musicians, patrons, and of Calgary. Showcasing local talent, and making it accessible to everyone!
