Went to renew my driver's license on a Thursday at about 11:30. Very little wait time - it was my turn as soon as I filled out the organ donor form. Both the receptionist and agent were very nice. Process was quick and smooth. Noticed a lot more people in the driver testing area.

One lady examiner, days ago was visibly unfriendly and did not even smile. As soon as we saw her, there were red flags when she came from a former road test. Our kid sensed her demeanor and said, "I hope she's not mine". In the end, I would not want her again, and with over 37 years driving she would even rattle me. A stranger said, "hope you do not get this one" and our bad luck we did and it was horrible! Other examiners are friendly, and a young girl taken by another was greeted with a smile. The father said, "she'll fail". I said no, and she did not as we watched her struggle backing up in the parking lot! As soon as our kid went on his test it was bad karma! Thank god she is not a cop! She even was rough with our passenger's seat belt and after sitting in it, we immediately noticed it was noisy and was not like that beforehand! We want to avoid Poco as you gamble as some have a good reputations and some the opposite. If you complain, they rubber stamp it in a cohesive membership. Why the low rating for this location are we all angry because of failures or unfriendliness, read the comments on this website? If you went to a food place and was served by an unfriendly waiter/waitress would you return or want the same? No!

There was a little bit of a wait but when I got up to the counter Colin was SUPER helpful he gave me way more information then just how to get my license. Also not having all the correct documentation he encouraged me to go get it and come back to complete the process the same day. I came back and he helped me and i was out in a flash.
The place as clean and comfortable, after going through the first line it felt like i was hanging out in my grandmas living room.

I'm glad they have a location in Poco! So much more convenient.
Swapping Alberta to BC license was a breeze.
I've also disputed my speeding tickets here and my spouse passed her driving test at this location. So it's a win!response / report this review -

I went to Poco ICBC several times. The staffs were really nice and patient with me. They helped me switching my Ontario license to BC license. I did not mind waiting half hour which is nothing compared to Ontario licensing centre. In the end, I was pretty happy with my class 5 license. I recommend going on Friday when everyone is more relaxed and content.

I visited the office multiple times for various purposes and never had any issues. Very organized, pleasant environment and friendly staff. I had only positive experience and saw that other customers were served well too.

Super UNFRIENDLY lady at the main reception desk. I gave her my BC Services card advising that my name was incorrectly spelt and she made me aware of the fact that I do not have to tell her that this was a BC services card. I was told " You don't have to tell me , I work here , I know what a BC Services card is"

A woman refused to take my birth certificate as ID beause it had a crack in it- then told me to come back with a passport that had all my given names on it! She was claiming people can put aliuses on their passports! She also wanted my expired Ontario license as ny current one is not 2 years old- what if i had gotten rid of the old one?!?!

The reception people are super nice but ironically the staff who actually helped me were unbelievably rude. I went there twice in 2 days and were "helped" by 2 different people who were impolite, impatient and misleading, especially the short round caucasian lady, about 50ish.
I was told by 2 ladies to do different things which were contradicting to each other. As I was explaining to the second lady what I was told to do the other day, she said she don't care who told me or what I was told. Then I pointed out the lady who talked to me yesterday was like 7 steps away from her, she took a look and didn't even go check with the other lady and just kept repeating what she said. Eventually, I couldn't get anything done here and had to go to another licensing location. As I was finishing up, I spent literally 5 seconds to pack my documents on the counter and the lady was already rushing me to leave.
Anyway, terrible experience, I'm never going there ever again.response / report this review -

Went in and wrote my Class 3 learners test on Friday. After finishing my exam I sat there for 20 minutes waiting to be helped and receive my license. Some gentleman sat down and finished his test 20 minutes after me. For some reason they decide to issue this mans license before me? I brought this to the ladies attention but all I got was.
"sit your ass down you will be helped in a few minutes"
This exact same lady I watched 10 minutes earlier talk down to some poor Indian man as if he was some piece of dirt because he was unclear of how to obtain a drivers license for work. His english was not very good so clearly he was struggling to comprehend what she was saying but all she did was snap at him. Very disgusting to watch nasty woman, next time I will film it.
The ladies working here are very rude and arrogant. I would definitely not visit this location unless you want to be belittled by staff. Standing in line and queuing up at this location means absolutely nothing. They will only help you when they feel like it. Its very obvious how poorly run this location is, just look at all the negative reviews. Everyone seems to have many problems with the short round lady with heavy blue eye shadow.response / report this review -

Very good service and fast when i went in person to change my ontario drivers liscence to a BC one. But asked to have it shipped to their facility since my mail box was being changed in december and I would be away for the holidays. So i didnt want to lose it if ever something happened.
I waited to get a phone call during or after the holidays, but never received one and no messages left.
Called today customer service, when they contacted the place, they said they tried to reach me 7 times always leaving a message.
Never got any missed calls or messages. I asked which phone number they contacted, she read the right number that is mine. So I dont know what happened but definetly wont be going back for that reason.response / report this review -
