The only staff that was sincere and smiling were housekeeping employees. My washroom wasn't cleaned we'll. There was mold in the grout in the tile of the shower and then bathtub wasn't cleaned properly at all. Not pleased, I brought my daughter out for a nice time and instead this was the second time I've had a poor experience at a Holiday express. More occurred but

Room is clean and nice. Nice building. Loud rooms. -You can hear neighbors on both sides of the room. Gym is small room in basement and hard to find. -But functional. Coffee for free is a big plus in this hotel. But I dislike the breakfast here. -Not eco friendly and feels like being in a cheap fast food restaurant. Look at the photos. How much waste I produced at one breakfast.

It's a holiday inn Express. The staff is really nice; rooms could use a new coat of paint but the beds and showers are comfortable. Breakfast is one of the better Continental buffets I've had. Overall you're going to have a pleasant stay.

Found a used condom within 30 seconds of being in my room, when I told the front desk, they said they would have the maid service clean the room extra good the following morning. How about having the maid service CLEAN the room. After the 'extra good' cleaning I spilled water on the bathroom floor and wiped it up with a towel, which turned black from the seemingly clean floor. The only redeeming moment, was when the night desk clerk went to his vehicle to fetch me his micro USB cable, as I had forgotten mine. Upon check out, I went to the front desk to get reimbursed for the $300.00 cash deposit, as I never give credit card info. My partner had checked in for me, and used her debit card for the deposit, and subsequently I transferred the amount back to her, as I went straight to my engagement for the day. I was told that they could not put the deposit back into my account, that it had to go back into the same account, which was an outright lie, and I told them it was a lie, but they stood by their claim for the moment, and when I became irate and accused them of lying, they threatened to call the police on me. I suggested that it was a grand idea, perhaps we should both call them. Ironically, they weren't to keen on it after all, and after speaking with my partner on the phone(it could have been anyone, as I gave them the number to call), they refunded my deposit. The fellow from Michigan standing beside me, was having an issue with them at the same time, and also commented that this was the second time it had happened to him.
One last comment regarding the type of people that frequent this hotel, the breakfast room was full of inconsiderate, ignorant, gob stuffing mouth breathers, I chose to eat in the safety of my room, for fear of losing a digit, mistaken for a sausage.

Over priced hotel with no pool. The location and amenities offered by this hotel do not justify the price in my opinion. Spend the same amount of money and stay at a much nicer hotel (with a pool) right next door. The hotel next door is the Best Western. The hotel itself is "fine", but just not worth spending $180 a night.

Clean nice rooms, excellent hot breakfast different options and buffet. At 10 minutes from the Toronto Zoo. Friendly staff.
Missing water filling bottles machine. They offer you to fill it with tap water if you hand out your water bottle.
Nice internet speed.

Check in was quick and easy, the staff was very pleasant, courteous and able to answer our questions. The room is clean and comfortable. Only drawback for us is the beds are EXTREMELY hard.

I hardly ever stay at hotels but my stay at this one was good, the staff were very nice and friendly and helpful. Rooms were nice and kept clean. The location of the hotel is great for anyone travelling the 401 highway and access to the downtown of Toronto is not too far away.

The location is easily accessed from the 401 and was close to many shopping malls and restaurants. The room was clean and spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast had a nice variety of hot and cold items.

Checking in was fast and easy. The price is very reasonable. The room was clean and the hotel is well maintained overall. Breakfast in the morning was good and there was lots of food. Overall this was a great experience.

Loved it ! The room was clean, spacious and I liked how it was decorated!! Was smelling good for a smoking room. Had air exchanger/heater at window (wich was a sliding window with a screen so you can just exhale outside). What I liked was the little fitness room, as I dont have a gym membership back home, I hit a 15 minute workout before breakfast and check out. Staff was nice too!! Great stay!
