Nice, clean hotel. Great location. Good price. However, parking lot was full by the time of my arrival. Parked in a city run lot a block or two away.

Very comfortable room. Excellent food at the restaurant next door. All customers are given a 10%discount to eat there. Beautiful view from our room. Downside road traffic noise early in the morning.

Room clean, bed comfortable, rates reasonable, only drawbacks limited channels on tv so husband didn't get his golf fix, and highway noise so woke up very early. Coffee maker and kcups in room along with small fridge and microwave. Well reviewed restaurant right next door.

An excellent motel choice in Nanaimo.

Friendly staff, nice rooms and located conveniently close to the Port Place mall, 711, MacDonald's etcall within easy walking distance.

Very affordable too, for short or longer stays.

We have stayed here numerous times and have always found the staff to be super friendly and helpful and the rooms very clean and the beds are very comfortable and have nice bedding. The location is a tad sketchy but convenient for our needs and we have never had any problems. We were fortunate this time to get to stay in a newly renovated room-with new carpet and paint. The bathroom had a new light fixture, new shower/tub enclosure, new counter top & sink, new toilet with a soft closing lid, and a new bathroom fan! There was a bar fridge, a Keurig coffee machine with coffee pods and a bottle of water. The MGM Restaurant next door has a great affordable breakfast with gluten free bread available! The price is very reasonable and there is ample parking. The staff advise that they will be upgrading other rooms over time.

Very comfortable beds and pillows, nice tv, fridge, microwave, and kuerig coffee pot(convienient). Room was clean, nice walls and carpet. I liked how the tv was higher on the wall, nice when watching while lying down. 4/5 on comfort because the towels being hard and scratchy, I like soft towels.
4/5 on condition just cause the bath/shower piece could be upgraded, couple small holes in plastic going up the side like it used to have a bracket for a sliding door or something. 4/5 on staff because I booked the room online, started playing poker at the casino at 11pm,where it ain't easy to get a seat at the table. They play until 1am on weekdays. So I got a call from hotel saying office closes at midnight
So I had to cut my game short to go finish booking. I gave it 5/5 overall cause even with the minor things I didn't like, paying only 53$ total for the room made up for them.

The room smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke, and was way worse in the bathroom, as though someone was standing below it whole smoking a cigarette all night long. Walls were paper thin, so even a tv that was relatively quiet kept me up. Beds were rock hard and very unforgiving. No hot water for a shower in the morning. I handed the key back to the owner, and she didn't even bother to ask me how my stay was.

Great place to stay last minute. Rooms were decent for the price. Took my dog which was a plus. They won't rent to locals though.
