A little Spartan and some odd resident behavior, but affordable and easy access to the highway. I got a last-minute reservation here and the office staff was very friendly. There are laundry services and detergent on-site; the machines take loonies.

Ive stayed in multiple motels in nanaimo in the past. I really enjoyed the service and staff. The house keepers were especially helpful when i spilt drinks on the ground. They serviced my room right away. I would definitely come back.

The most important feature in a hotel room for me is the bed. And I wish the bed & linens were as high quality as the rest of the hotel.
Both nights I stayed I ended up sleeping on the floor. The bed is squishy with no support and the pillows are little more then disguised tissue paper.

I really enjoyed staying here. I've been told that there are new managers and it shows. The room was clean. The staff were friendly. And I even got a bathroom that was just renovated. In my opinion it was great value for the money spent.

The staff have been great to me over the years. I have come to this motel on a regular basis for the last 5 years. During this time I have seen improvements to the motel on a regular basis. I recently stayed in a newly renovated bathroom and was blown away with how nice it was.

Cozy , considering its just off the highway , once in your room its quiet . Staff are easy to talk to and address your concerns in a timely manner . Also suggest that you know about cost savings for longer stays etc . Breakfast at Alice's joined to hotel or take it to your room . Then go out on the deck and watch the sunrise 🌬️🌞over the ocean .
Downside was the shower . Some rooms have been renovated so if you ' Value ' your shower , this may be a good idea to request . They will try to accommodate you with any reasonable request . Non judgmental, caring and approachable staff . I will be back .

Kinda sketchy originally, kind of musky smell but you forget about it quickly, has a mini fridge and shower, shower has peeling paint. Overall not a bad night, everything was clean and worked, beds were comfortable, and there was a nice restaurant for breakfast in it with friendly staff.

Good deal for an economy motel. The restaurant next door is great. Traffic noise was a small issue of you are a light sleeper.

Had to stay here for a couple months and the staff was awesome whatever I asked they helped me out with and even though I was probably not the best of guest they were still good and respectable people I'd stay here again

I had recently stayed at the motel in Rm. 111. I was surprised by how nice and new the bathroom looked. I had been told it was just renovated. Great place at a great price. The tv was large as well.
