Love our experience there for our two cats. Very friendly and caring staff and doctors. They took lots of time to answer all our questions. Very knowledgeable. Feel our pets are in very caring and experienced hands with all the staff there.

Took my budgie here for the first time today. The staff were friendly and caring. Dr. Luckwaldt knew exactly what the problem was, didn't do a bunch of invasive, stressful and potentially costly procedures before first trying a medication. The staff taught me how to help out my little feathered friend and how to give her the medication.
Told a friend of mine how much I was charged and she said that was a great price. She uses a different avian vet.

Great place to take your pocket pets and worth the trip if you're from out of town. I've had my rats and dwarf hamster seen here, and had several neuters done with no issues. Staff are friendly and vets are knowledgable about even obscure conditions.

I actually won't take my furballs anywhere else unless it's a dire emergency. I've seen two different vets at other clinics when I was out of town and totally regret it. Both times I called ahead to ask if there was a specialist who specifically treats rats and hamsters. Both times I was told yes, but when I arrived in the exam room, found that they had no idea what they were doing and rarely even saw pocket pets! I wasted $100+ each in exam fees alone, twice, on top of having to take my pets somewhere else.

Can't say that about Greenwood, they definitely know what they're doing. The care is excellent, they're willing to explain why they need to do different procedures, and don't try to charge for useless tests. They don't rush through your appointment either.

Just had our first appointment here with our very senior great dane. The staff here treated us with such kindness and compassion. I was blown away with the level of service and professionalism. Not sure why we hadn't come here sooner. Highly recommend the team at Greenwood Park.

We used to go to Dr. Luckwaldt when he was at his previous hospital, and we ended up moving to his new hospital when he moved (even though it's on the other end of the city for us!) because he is such a great vet. He takes time to discuss all of your concerns with you and to explain everything in detail. He doesn't pressure you into unnecessary tests or treatments (something that we've experienced at previous clinics), he is extremely knowledgeable and practical, and overall an amazing vet! Highly recommended.

Generally the staff is great. But the phone call I just had with whoever picked up the phone just left a very sour taste in my mouth. I was aware that I was asking something vague about my rabbit, obviously I'm calling THEM because I can't tell what it is. Instead of providing me with some idea or suggestion to come in - the lady who was on the phone with me just said: "..I don't know.. can't tell without seeing it." And just left it there. No effort at all. There was no: would you like to bring your pet in for a check up?"; no: can you describe what you're seeing to me in more detail?. Just silence. I stood there thinking, should I be courteous enough to say bye or just hang up the phone?

I understand that they can't properly diagnose something without seeing it in person. But it could be nothing at all and I wouldn't be the wiser. But at the very least, fake like you give a crap. Because I don't want to bring my beloved animal here to people who can't be bothered to help when your job IS to help.

I've never had an issue in the past 2 years I've been here - YES I am a repeat customer. Thanks for making me feel like you value your business.. I'll be taking it elsewhere.

Our pet store recommended Greenwood for small animals and we took our little dwarf hamster Angel in. They were wonderful, and treated both Angel and my daughter (her owner) incredibly kindly. Thanks to their expert care, our hamster's abscess is fully cured and she's running around happily again! :)

I'm a first time rat owner, and when I woke up one morning to find one of my boys with an eye infection, I was worried. I searched for clinics that would take rats and had Greenwood recommended to me by one. I took him in, and despite forgetting to call first, the staff were all very friendly. The lady at the desk took down our information, told us what the price of the exam would be, and booked us an appointment for that afternoon.

When we returned, a lady with blonde hair took us into one of the rooms to get the exam started. The way they treated my animal astounded me. They handled him with great care and ALWAYS considered his needs first. He was clearly nervous, so the first lady got me to take him out of the box and put him on the scale. Took his weight, and left to get the vet.

Dr. Erin (I didn't catch her last name) was the one who attended to him, and I have never been more impressed with a veterinarian. She obviously loves her jobs, and is very much a people and animal person! She commented on how cute and healthy my rat looked, gave him a quick look-over, and ruled out any possibility of injury to his eye. She was very patient with him, even when he pooped everywhere, peed on her, and jumped onto the floor. She even checked him over after he pulled that stunt to make sure everything was okay.

She showed us how to administer the eye drops that he'd been prescribed and when we expressed concerns at the cost of everything made sure that we would be able to afford it, which impressed me greatly. This has, hands down, been the best vet experience out of all the animals I've owned and all the places I've lived. I will definitely be taking my boys here should they have any other issues.

I thought that $85 was a bit much to just exam a rat, but I'm very pleased with the quality of service I received. If I could give more stars I would.
