A fabulous place. I'm sad that he has no location in Toronto. Food was terrific. So well done and I have high expectations when it comes to Italian food. Location, ambiance, service and food were all 5 star.

The Best in Vancouver for Italian. Amazing Food, Incredible Service, Lovely Decor and most of all Beautiful People taking care of you. The owner/manager Umberto and Bobby are also incredibly helpful and have a passion to deliver great food and great experience. ENJOY!!!

Fantastic Italian food if you like regular (not fancy) as I do. Good service and awesome food. Located one floor up so you have a view of the street while dining. Get the bolognese.

Meh.
I had heard some good things about this place from my boss so we decided to give it a try.
The concept seems a little obsolete, they don't really have a cocktail list, they give you two pieces of old cold bread in case you are into old bread with your meal, and their service is lacking. I will admit the pasta was really good but for what they are offering the price is really outrageous, the food is comparable to Cin Cin on Robson and prices are about as double that. Still prefer Ask for Luigi or Nicli Antica Pizzeria or Nook. Prefer all of those before Il Giardino. In general the place seems snobby and "old school" as there is a lot of older people and they seem to think this place is the met gala and the food and service really just falls flat.

Nice Italian food, with amazing bread. All made in-house. It is expensive so I'd suggest this for a nice night out. There is a small patio out back which is great while sunny. Very professional and amazing staff. The greeters seem to pay much, much, more attention to people in blazers or a nice dress, so wear a blazer. Even a dress shirt has got me ignored. So as my friend says 'Throw on a blazer!'

Authentic Italian dishes. All dishes were prepared well. Pleasant atmosphere and attentive staffs. Definitely a upper class types of food.

Class! Really good Italian (Truly a home-from-home for Italians) with the best of West Coast & Canadian infusion. Really great quality food (not too salty, common with this class of restaurant) and a truly stunning wine list. The clientele is interesting - lots of regulars, some who have been visiting for decades, as well as a peppering of celebrities (Hollywood, TV, art and music). NOTE: it is an expensive restaurant, so be prepared.

What a room! Great atmosphere set off with warm welcoming service. The energy could be whatever you want. Cozy and secluded or outgoing and involved, there is a space for everyone to enjoy some of the best food and drink in he city. Thoroughly enjoyable.
