My experience here was fantastic. Staff was friendly and helpful. We bought the perfect car for us. Gave us good advice on the car, and did not mislead us in anyway with sales lines to make it seem too good to be true. It was all honest truth. Would absolutely buy another Mazda here.

Its great that you guys have recall on vehicles but if you don't have the parts to fix them, and I get an indefinite time for when you will get it in, why do you even do a recall.

My 2010 mazda was overheating months after been fix for the same thing, they acknowledge the situation right away and told me that there was a service bulletin on it.
I also told them about a leak in the power steering fluid, which they found in a matter of minutes and changed a hose.
From Mitchel to Doug the Service Manager who called me at least four times they kept me posted on progress and took care of it in a quick professional matter.
    Thank you guys!

I've been here about a dozen times now, and about a dozen times too many.

The relationship started off great. I was able to purchase the vehicle of my choice and everything moved fast. In the sales department you have really great people who took the time to answer every question and were (overly) concerned with appearance and details.

The service department is something else. I'm not going to complain about prices because I understand fully that this is where dealerships make money and that they can all be ridiculous at times. But I literally cannot come to this place without something going wrong.

I've been misquoted, seeming in violation of the Consumer Protection Act, on a window replacement. $420 charged instead of $340. I can still hear the broken glass rattling around in-between the exterior of the door and the panel.

I've made the mistake of trying their online booking system (skip this), scheduling a winter tire package 5 days in advance only to be e-mailed less than 24 hours later to be told that no date was given for my initial booking. Although I doubt the veracity of this claim, how or why it's even possible to submit an online booking through their system without providing a date is incomprehensible. This literally shouldn't even be possible. I had even received a confirmation e-mail telling me my service date was confirmed and entered when I initially did it. Why they'd wait less than 24 hours before the date to tell me otherwise is inexcusable. More unnecessary days off work. Seriously, skip the online booking.

I've even had a service consultant who shares his name with a Roman dictator take cell phone pictures of my car damage and share them around the office while smiling. Hilarious. They can't wait until I leave the place before doing this?

Most recently (3 days ago) I brought in my car for some work, including telling them to replace the driver's side headlight. They didn't. They just "cleaned connection" (their written words) and of course hours later it went out again. They also forgot to give me one of my tires back as I was leaving. Now I get to take more time off work and wait another week just to come back in and get this done. Or more likely, I'll do it myself.

As to the quality of the car itself, I can't comment on how robust Mazdas are in general, or how appropriate they are for Winnipeg's weather. But I probably couldn't recommend them over anything I've had before. I think it's a shame that the Islamic State takes Tacomas into war while my car has the bottom ripped out from under it after hitting the end of my steep driveway.

Still, it isn't all bad. I appreciate that, unlike many other companies in this city, they actually hire people who know how to speak English and don't have incomprehensible accents. The people are nice and the dealership looks exceptional. Now if they'd just do me one final courtesy and take all my car info and history and forward it to the other Mazda dealership in the city so I never have to see it again.

Very polite, very knowledgeable staff that handles people and paperwork very legitimately. The salesmen there carefully explained all my options and handled my case in a very professional manner. I have also happily rented from them. They are the only care rental service in town with winter tires.

Ernie Foort is truly a pleasure to work with. Listens to you, does not shove his opinion down your throat, and isn't aggressive. While car shopping can be a real nightmare, he made it a treat. Would 100% recommend him to anyone!!!

I'm not sure my experience can be paralleled. I drove 8 hours from Saskatchewan, because they had my (realistic) dream car on the lot, used. My salesman was already seeing me out the window as I pulled in. My car was waiting for me by the door already. It was owned once, by a salesman there! So I was able to get the car history straight from him, he babied it. Finance Manager was very nice and helpful. It was a very good experience, and the car now resides in SK, one less beauty in MB.
Only real negatives: There is a few things about the car I would have liked to be taught before leaving, but I could have just asked to be taught more. Also, they didn't have the winter floor mats in stock for the car.
Did I mention that Gerry Gordon himself came over and had a chat with me when I was taking a couple pictures with my car? Very good experience, also Mazdas are beautiful. Thanks guys!!

I just bought a 2016.5 CX-5 GT with Gerry Gordon Mazda and the experience is outstanding. I've worked with Mr. Ernie, Mr. Christian and Ms. Jessica and they all delivered an awesome job. I love my car and I'm very impressed with Gerry Gordon's Mazda Team on how they handle guests/customers.

Ernie even picked me up from Regent Area one time so I don't have to take the long bus ride to check out the car, then drive me back home.

Definitely the place to go if you're eyeing for a Mazda and looking for a good quality service. I didn't feel pressured in buying and had a great time and car is spot-on!
