  Awesome beer menu. Very extensive. Had the poutine with pulled pork and the pickle spears for eats, very tasty. This was my favorite of all the pubs I visted in Victoria.

  Called a pub by many but if you're British you would see strong North American influence in current design. The Dark Matter ale I tried was excellent (despite being chilled 😉). Chicken burger and fries chosen from a menu with a good range. Fries over-seasoned but burger good. Prices very reasonable for Capital City.
  
  Friendly staff offered polite, quick service.
  Pub decor a bit tired as are the washrooms (toilets).

  Great cause bar with good food, beer selection and service. Crowded on the weekends so come before 9pm otherwise there's a line up.

  There is something cool about eating at a place that had been a pub for over a hundred years. Great mashes and Sheppard's pie to be found here. Really good beer selection and great advice from the bar keeps, and surprisingly one of the best Caesar salads I have ever had.

  Great place for a pint! Food and drink were served very quickly and our bartender was very knowledgeable about all the beers and was able to suggest good picks. Great natural light and good people watching out of the big windows. Awesome pub.

  Delicious food at a reasonable price. Great location and atmosphere. Expansive beer variety. Prompt and friendly service. A must visit place in Victoria.

  We went to this pub with our friends, which came to Victoria for a few days. Calm atmosphere gave me a pleasure of talking and listening without discomfort. Portions of the food were pretty big for reasonable prices. Only one thing that brought us light dissatisfaction was service. We had to wait for being served longer than expected. Despite this I really enjoyed time at Garrick's Head Pub.

  Best pub in town. If you're alone or with a group. If you go alone pull up a chair at the bar along 15+ other chairs add enjoy a wide assortment of drink choices.

  Rad place for rad people hahah just kidding This was the first pub I went to when I turned 19 and it's always been one of my favorites. Great staff and a huge selection of craft beer keep me coming back. Excellent location, if you're wanting to go to an event after or just find yourself wanting a pint of great beer. Thanks Garrick's Head for being rad.

  Nice atmosphere and great selection of beer, however the bar tender was very unpleasant. My boyfriend and I came in and sat down, and with the intention of ordering food and drinks, we decided on water to start. He was very annoyed with that idea. We observed him a little bit more and decided we didn't want to spend anymore more time in the pub because he was acting extremely arrogant and honestly, just rude. He came by and aggressively asked us if we were going to order anything, and we had told him that we're actually just going to finish the water and head out. He then asked us to leave because he's not going to have us "just sitting there drinking water."
  
  I get you want to make revenue, however being rude to customers isn't the way to do it. We would have ordered more but he honestly ruined our experience.
