Matthew the Machine is doing great so far during today's test. He's driving crazy fast and just had to stop to take off some layers. It's pretty warm in here today. About 4hrs to go!

Big test day tomorrow for Matthew as we continue testing for his upcoming Guinness World Record attempt. Coach Shaun de Jager, and our General Manager, will be there pushing Matt hard and monitoring the kart also. Today we are doing a lot of work on the kart to make sure it's in good form for tomorrow's test. Our Marketing Director Dulce Barbosa will also be there to help out and will be handling media relations. Additional volunteers are welcome! Just let us know if you can make it so we know to expect you.

Bring it To Canada: Guinness World Record Attempt!!!
On Monday January 22, 2018, at Formula Kartways and in association with The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, we support Matthew Hayley as he ventures to smash the Guinness World Record for greatest distance set for indoor go-karting in 24hours and bring the record home to Canada. He has a target goal of 750km in 24 hours. The current Guinness World Record for greatest distance traveled in 24hrs for indoor - gokarting is 733.58kms held by Trey Shannon of Charlotte, North Carolina.
If you are willing to help us out, we are looking for volunteers to help at the event. We are also taking donations for The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation. NOTE: We will be closed to all other gokarting and not running customers during this event.

I remember when Formula was at another locationso was pretty disappointed when I saw the new one, but drove all the way to Brampton, so thought we'd stick it out.
We were greeting fairly promptly, asked to fill out the liability forms, which was fine, and asked to watch the safety videoall good and fine.
During the video, someone from the track came in, told us "yeah, the video is just whatever", blurted out some quick track rules, and then walked back to the trackwe got in, got our car assignments, and went to sit down.I looked at the track staff that was supposed to get us going, and he eventually put his phone down to get us going.
During the course of the race, I managed to get myself stuck.and again, had to stare in the direction of staff for a bit before they noticed, as someone had arrived with Burger Kingsomeone did come over and got me squared away, and in all fairness, it probably wasn't as long as it had seemed, but it was still pretty frustrating sitting there, watching them not watching, and of course I couldn't even yell over, as the track was loud, and I was wearing a helmet.
We finished our race, which was fine, and as I get out, and go to help my gf out of her cart, that I notice that she had to take her seatbelt off..seat belt? what seat belt.,..no on had said anything to me about one.guess that safety video really was whatever.
$66, and we were in and out in about 20 min.For the time, and money, and the apparent care of the staff, I wouldn't return, knowing there are alternatives closer, and this wasn't the place I had remembered.ah well.response / report this review -

I feel the staff there should be watching more then talking with each other. My 13 year old smashed into the barrier and was sitting there crying as he busted his lips, banged his nose and hurt his neck. He sat there longer then he should of covered in blood and wouldn't of if the staff was watching! Sad as there was only 2 on the track (my 14 year old also) for the amount you pay its not worth it! I won't go back and wouldn't recommend

We bought a Groupon deal, ended up liking the first round so much that we bought more laps. Awesome track, not easy and not too long. Perfect date night, and perfect activity!

$50 for 2 people with 30 laps on a Groupon isn't bad The track was very small, and the ventilation was horrible Had problems breathing and the stench on your clothes almost put my wife in a asthma attack and she wasn't with us

amazing technical track will be missed.hope the new one is as good. Great experience here with a 10 lap qualifier for grid position then a 40 lap race with the winner getting a victory lap with the checkered flag..haven't had this much fun in years!!

Had a good time, fun go carts. I wasnt happy about kart testing during our race but the manager offered us another go around the track. Pretty solid customer service.
