We're from Regina and value supporting local. Having been a customer of a local RV dealer, I didn't anticipate changing dealerships when upgrading to a new 5th wheel this year. However, after finding that Minard's had the exact coach we were looking for, we decided that we would buy from them. We've heard their commercials; their commitment to customer service and we also heard people in the seasonal campground speaking highly about their mobile service, so let's try them out!?!

With an excellent deal made as well as quickly given reasonable quotes for all the extras we wanted, we signed the sale. A date was set for us to drive the hour to have our new 5th wheel hitch installed and pick up our coach.

Here's where the rubber meets the road - due to parts issues we were unable to have our hitch installed and bring our coach home. Although we were quite disappointed we quickly realized it was an understandable mistake (new Ford F250s have aluminum boxes and require special installation parts). After thinking about it more I'm not sure this was even their fault - S#!+ happens.

We seen the disappointment on the Minards teams faces as well. I got the sense they don't make mistakes often and it bothered them. There was never an excuse or an attempt to sidestep the issue. Marie and the team quickly set the wheels in motion to make things right. Their actions showed that there was no doubt that customer service IS the top priority at Minards Leisure World.

They quickly decided to cover the costs of a significant amount of extras we had them install. We were then promised to have the hitch installed the following Friday, including being told they would drive to Saskatoon to get the parts themselves to guarantee things would be ready to go for Friday (it was my personal circumstances that made Friday critical, not theirs).

The following Friday (today) we made another trip to Minards and we had the hitch installed. Mother Nature decided to not cooperate - 70 km/hr winds arose and the blizzard started. Again we were disappointed to not be able to bring our 5th wheel home and we could tell that the Minard's team was as well. Although this time absolutely not their fault, they went even further and stepped up with an offer to transport it to Regina when the weather cleared up and gave us an unbelievable amount of gift cards to show their appreciation for our business.

So why did I write this review? Because I believe businesses who treat people properly should be recognized and promoted. Marie in sales, Kim in parts and the owner, Susan. They truly care about their customers!

If you intend to buy a trailer or fifth wheel my suggestion is you check out Minards Leisure World - call Marie - I know we will when the time comes again!

Found the trailer we loved in Saskatoon but thought we should shop around! Found what we were looking for at Minards but a 2017 model (although brand new) and a 2018 in Virden. There were a few upgrades in the 2018 coach that we really wanted so mentioned that to Marie! Without missing a beat she checked with the manufacturer and was able to get us a 2018 model AND beat the other dealers prices!! The date was set for pick up and with Mother Nature cooperating we made the drive to Weyburn for pick up! We were greeted promptly and showed where to drop our trade off, taken to our new coach, which was inside, plugged in and warm, to do the walk through!! The team at Minards makes the process easy and they know what they are doing! If you are not sure what you are wanting or where to start looking my suggestion is to start at Minards Leisure World, you won’t be disappointed!!

I know the RV business very well and know many dealers but I was overwhelmed by the how Minards made the experience so easy and fun. We had Marie (we recognized her from the video so that was special.) show us the campers. It was an awesome experience. No pressure and complete honesty. While we did the paper work, Nick took our daughter to go see the guard dog. That was so sweet. We loved our experience with this company. We are so happy to have chosen Minards to buy our camper!

Air conditioning in new camper down after 4 months of use (hasn’t worked this year). Minard’s Leisure World out May 28 to fix, ordered part that supposedly shipped June 7th. Several calls since not returned. Quick to sell, not so much to fix

*update* received call Today they will be out tomorrow to install new air conditioning unit as ours is discontinued and cannot order the part. Not sure how they ordered the part that shipped June 7th if discontinued but I’m happy they will be out to fix tomorrow. Upgraded rating to three star, will have to earn higher rating going forward

We love dealing with Minards Leisure World! The sales team worked hard to find what we were looking for, and the service team always very knowledgeable. Minards makes the experience of a picking up your camper exiting but ensure you have the knowledge to leave feeling comfortable with their thorough walk through. Come on down and chat with Tammy. She spent over an hour schlepping me around the coaches at the spring sow in Regina. She'll take the time to find you what you're looking for. Its a real friendly bunch at Minards, and the prices can't really be beaten. I shopped several other RV dealers before I settled here.

Kim and I would like to thank Tammy Bell, Al Zaritzky and Duane Kohl for making the purchase of our new Sporttrek trailer a true worry, hassle and stress free process!
