  Store wasnt open when i arrived in the morning, had short amount of time to spend and they opened 15 mins late

  It's been about two weeks since I asked Dominique for a quote on tickets from Ottawa to vancouver. . She hasn't bothered to call or email me since.

  I worked with John Castell at this store while organizing details for my trip to Mexico. He went out of his way to make sure my trip would go smoothly and that it did. He has a wealth of travel knowledge that I will use again before booking my next holiday.

  My girlfriend and I went to the Flight Centre Expo at Canada Place on February 22nd, 2014. A friend had convinced us that there were deals to be had and that she saved lots of money on a trip to Australia the previous year by going there.
  
  After waiting an hour in line we met with a travel agent from the West 10th branch (we later discovered she was the manager). We were given two quotes:
  
  $2,200 with Air Canada (Vancouver to Sydney)
  $1,775 with Cathay Pacific (Vancouver to Melbourne)
  
  Once we got home, we typed "flights to Australia" in Google, and it came up with a $1,600 flight from Vancouver to Sydney through Air Canada on the Google search page! After further searching (clicking through some sites) we found $1,400 (with a free 2-night stopover at a hotel in Fiji). We also found the same Cathay Pacific flight for $1575 on a flight comparison website.
  
  When you are paying a premium for in-person service you would expect for things to go more smoothly and be less confusing, but the person we dealt with took over 40 minutes just to find the correct flight and made the whole experience a lot more troublesome than it had to be.
  
  I don't know why anyone would go to a Flight Centre Expo event when you can sit at home, in your pajamas, and get better deals yourself. Save yourself time and money and avoid these scam artists.
