The free breakfast was a nice touch. We stayed with our two dogs, the chair had a large stain and carpet seemed like it hadn't been vacuumed, maybe that was just the pet room. The rest of the room was clean, nice.
    Pool is great for kids

The hotel was beautiful, the room was very nice. Breakfast was very good. The only drawback was the chlorine in the pool was very high and made our eyes sting the minute we walked into the room.

Great stay as usual. I arrived about 6am from 6 to 7 hours drive. I wanted to check earlier, see if they can and how they handled it. They were going to charge me a nightly stay which I understand. They said to check in at 7am with the next staff. They continued, "Have some complimentary breakfast while you wait." When 7am staff arrived, I tried checking in early. They said they would charge a 50% plus the night stay. I asked nicely what's the best time to check in. The guest services after 1pm. I went back around 11:30am, I had a different guest service helping me. He checked me in early, and didn't charge anything extra. I don't know their full details of checking in earlier policy with or without extra charges. It was quite an experienced with professionalism and great manner. Only gave four stars, felt like I was getting the run around about check in policy with rooms availabilities. I would still stay here again. Thanks.

Where does one begin? First I put up with a leaking shower with mould as they had no one to repair it on the weekend. Now this wouldn't have been bad except for the fact I needed to have towels on the floor due to amount of water. Then no parking!!!! What kind of hotel doesn't have enough parking for their guests? Expectation was to park across the street proximately half a mile from the hotel. No security coverage of our vehicles. And when discussing with front desk staff get told "whatever " !!! Really!!! I would not stay here again.

Held a business relationship with the hotel for a number of years and valued the relationship. Stayed there in September 2016 and March 2017 and had bed bugs in the rooms we were in. The sept 2016 issue was horrible, more so than the March issue, there was hundreds of bugs in the room. Little was done to mitigate the problem or offer any compensation for clothes or baggage I threw out. I was very dissatisfied! They originally offered me a weekends stay, but when it was time to cash in in the offer they down graded it to a nights stay. Even though a social contract and understanding was formed. And in March after the issue, they insisted on charging me for the room after the issue was pointed out after they indicated no charges would come to my fathers card. Again breaching another understanding between guest and hotel. They did very little again to mitigate the grievances!! Sadly they did not meet my standards of customer service or hospitality and I have never been back since.

Very nice hotel for the price. Clean, quiet, and close to the airport and to shopping. The location is clearly one that is still under development so be aware of that. The pool is good for kids, though I'll admit safety could be improved around the very fast waterslide and some slippery surfaces that are also of magnets. Breakfast was the standard fare and well appreciated. Would stay again.

We had a mishap with our reservation through a third party site and our reservation was changed to another hotel. We showed up at Fairfield without an actual reservation and the Guest Services Manager Carol called this third party site on our behalf and tried to set the record straight that they made a mistake. In the end the Fairfield gave us a better deal and even an upgrade. Their service was second to none and their willingness to accommodate and go above and beyond was outstanding and very welcomed. Will definitely be trying to stay at this amazing hotel again!

Not a good experience. Waited an hour for a shuttle room was dirty, bath tub wouldn't drain and my wake up call was 10 minutes late.

Excellent staff. Too many inconsiderate guests. Noisy and unfriendly this past weekend. Not hotel's fault Hotel is very well kept.

Check in was quick and rooms were great. The included breakfast makes it a really good value for a place to stay.

I've stayed at this hotel a number of times over the past two years for business, usually rotating between one of the Holiday Inn locations and this Fairfield by Marriott - however I'll be checking out early this time and this stay will likely be my last.

It's currently -25 in Winnipeg, and not much warmer in my room. There is a large window on the exterior wall with an AC/Heat unit directly below it with a very poor insulation job. The unit allows ice cold air into the room between seals as well as through the entire left side of the grate (which is being BLOWN into the room) and isn't powerful enough on max to generate hot or even warm air through its vents. Paired with the large thin window, it is not possible to bring any warmth to the room and I have to sit under the blankets or with winter gear on to be comfortable.

The TVs are low-end 32" LGs made for hospitality and aren't great for hooking up a game console or watching anything in general. Three lights were burnt out in my room, two light switches ended up controlling nothing at all.

The hotel typically runs two elevators, however this time one appeared to have been out of service (no signage) as it was stuck on ground and would not open. I had to wait in line for around 5 minutes through two waves of guests to get into the elevator and up to my floor, to top it off they are very slow-moving.

If it weren't for the deal breakers, especially the temperature issue, this would be a decent hotel and is typically a clean property with friendly service and a good hot breakfast. I'll be staying at the Courtyard Marriott (a MUCH nicer property) or a Holiday Inn going forward.
